Strategy Manager Climate Solutions

I played a key role in establishing the financial processes for the biggest acquisition ever made by Danfoss Power Solutions. Beside this, I was the finance lead on a localization of Hydrostatics in India. 

The first 9 months of my role was focused on financial processes as monthly closing, forecast and budget. Beside that, I was also the Risk Manager for Danfoss Power Solutions,  focused on business continuity management.

The Danfoss Graduate Program is a talent program that aims to develop future leaders or specialists. This is done through challenging and distinct project in different global locations. It's splint into 4 rotations. 

1. Rotation - Segment Controlling, Danfoss Drives (Denmark)

In this rotation I worked as a Business Controller and gained experience within Budgetting process, Business Partnering with R&D and Monthly Closing at Segment level. A major contribution in this rotation was the development of a product profitability simulation model to R&D and an improved Warranty Process. 

2. Rotation - Segment, Division and Factory Controlling, Danfoss Power Solutions (Germany):

In this rotation I worked as a Business Controller both at a Factory, Division and Segment level. I gained experience with Big Data Analyic tools, Business Intelligience, SAP, Entity Valuation (DCF) and how to ensure profitibality at factory level. Some of the essential contributions were a 25 % reduction in Premium Freight Costs, a leaner Fixed Expense Reporting process, a new value creating BI report.  

3. Rotation - Danfoss Corporate Finance (Denmark)

In this rotation I got experience with IFRS, Annual Report process, Digital Finance trends and Internal Audit. I worked as a project manager on the implementation of an IFRS Standard, which was implemented succesfully. 

4. Rotation - Sales development, Danfoss Power Solutions (USA)

This rotation was focused around developing the Global Customer Strategy and the Go-to-Market strategy for a geographical expansion. I got experience with Strategy Development, Pricing Strategy, Procurement & Manufacturing Strategy.

At Jyske Bank I supported the team behind the Corporate Bonds Invesment Fund. I was responsible for optimizing and maintaining the tools used for valuate the Corporate Bonds. The optimization and maintance was done in SAS and VBA.
