Neutral Digital is an aviation-focused content creation house specialising in virtual reality for marketing, training and design.

During my first fiscal year with the company, I drove unprecedented revenue growth of 20% by refining our processes, strategy, and operating model. I held full accountability for the company’s profit and loss performance, while also building and managing high-performing commercial teams to ensure sustained success.

In addition to my operational responsibilities, I served as the public face of the business, delivering talks and seminars worldwide on the transformative benefits of integrating immersive technology into core business processes for aviation companies.

I built successful strategic partnerships with C-suite stakeholders at major multinationals such as Cathay Pacific, IATA, British Airways, Oman Air, Qatar Airways and Air Canada. This business model refinement and renewed focus ensured sustainable growth for Neutral through specialisation, reinforcing credence as an aviation expert content creation house in the immersive technology sector.

Tala

Tala is a young British lighting brand with a mission to create exquisite products that have a positive impact.

I was responsible for defining and executing go-to-market strategies across nine European markets, driving 4x top-line growth from FY15/16 to FY16/17. This success was achieved by cultivating strong relationships with agents, distributors, and high-end retailers to position Tala as a premium design-focused brand.

I managed the full European P&L, working directly with the Founders and the board of investors to deliver on ambitious stretch targets. My role involved partnering with senior stakeholders, including Heads of Purchasing from major European retailers such as Le Bon Marché, de Bijenkorf, Globus, Illums Bolighus, La Rinascente, and Galeries Lafayette, and developing comprehensive and tailored multi-channel sales strategies with each.

Leading both internal and external teams across Sales and Marketing, I oversaw direct reports as well as Tala’s agency and distribution network in Europe. Additionally, I was responsible for producing financial forecasts and developing and maintaining a comprehensive five-year business plan, providing key insights to support the Founders' strategic decision-making.

Strategy Workstream Lead - large Health and Public Sector organisation (September 2014 - June 2016)

I led a critical workstream focused on executing a comprehensive five-year digital strategy vision for a major Public Sector client, resulting in the delivery of £3m annualised savings.

As part of this initiative, I also oversaw the implementation of broader digital transformation efforts aimed at enhancing the client’s ability to identify, segment and engage their customers more effectively through digital channels.


Project Manager - major Communications, Media and Tech client (December 2013 - September 2014):

I served as a project manager overseeing the end-to-end delivery of an operating system upgrade across multiple global sites. This role demanded strong stakeholder management skills, strategic thinking, detailed status reporting and effective application defect management to ensure a smooth implementation.

The positive feedback I received for my performance in this capacity led to my appointment in two additional concurrent roles as a Systems Integrator, contributing to separate transformation projects.


Alongside my core client work, I was also the Volunteering and Mentoring Lead for Accenture UKI's relationship with The Prince's Trust. My role was to increase employee participation in Prince's Trust engagements by promoting and managing Prince's Trust volunteering day events across Accenture's UK offices. I also organised and ran CV and interview mentoring days with The Prince's Trust.

I played a pivotal role in Redgate’s SQL/Delivery/DBA Division Sales, with a specific focus on transforming the sales process in French, Spanish, and Portuguese-speaking regions. This required a combination of deep technical expertise in database management, migration, and deployment software, alongside the ability to effectively communicate these concepts to clients in four different languages.

I conducted primary market research to evaluate the feasibility of entering the Brazilian market and other emerging economies, synthesising the findings into actionable insights for presentation to the company's first-line leadership.

Consistently surpassing sales targets, I exceeded expectations by 50% in my first month alone. Additionally, I spearheaded an innovative online campaign to engage previously unreachable business clients in their native languages. This initiative provided Redgate with valuable customer insights and led to a significant long-term revenue boost from non-English-speaking markets.

As the SQL Monitor Product Champion, I strengthened the feedback loop between Redgate’s SQL Monitor development team and the DBA client network, fostering improved relationships and product alignment with customer needs.

I was responsible for developing a competitive pricing strategy for a complex SaaS model, conducting in-depth market analysis to ensure the approach was aligned with industry trends and customer expectations.

Overseeing all sales operations for Clinked, I focused specifically on Enterprise-level accounts and client relationship management, where I single-handedly designed and implemented the entire sales process. My efforts contributed significantly to Clinked surpassing its 2012 sales projections by nearly 50%, which sparked substantial interest from early-stage venture capitalists.

My role spanned the entire sales lifecycle, from lead generation in collaboration with the marketing team to face-to-face pitches, webinars, negotiations, and deal closures. Beyond sales, I played a key role in shaping the company’s strategy, including the development of an industry-first language conversion feature. Through a strategic partnership, I enabled start-up businesses to expand into global markets while minimising costly localisation expenses.

I am a goal-driven, highly motivated strategic leader with 13 years of international experience, primarily in strategy consulting, operational and commercial leadership capacities guiding scale-up businesses through growth.

My sector and scope experience spans start-ups and scale-ups across SaaS, marketplace businesses, extended reality (XR) technologies and luxury consumer goods, as well as briefly founding a smart relocation app (yamevoy.es) targeting Spanish graduates from technical degree disciplines looking to apply their skills in the UK start-up scene. My work at yamevoy.es was preceded by 2 years as a Consultant at Accenture Strategy, notably as Strategy Lead for a major digital transformation project with a UK government department. Before my move into consulting, I spent 2 years learning the ropes at SaaS start-ups and SMEs in Cambridge. I studied Modern and Medieval Languages at Cambridge University before going on to complete a 1-year course in Management Studies at Cambridge's Judge Business School, as well as achieving a 'full blue' in tennis.

During my time at Accenture I also grew very passionate about charity work. I was proud to be Mentoring and Volunteering Lead for Accenture's partnership with The Prince's Trust. By the end of my tenure in this position, I had helped Accenture to win the Volunteering Award for greatest number of hours dedicated to charity work across any of The Prince's Trust's corporate partnerships in 2015.

Outside of work, I can mostly be found playing (overly competitive) tennis or (extremely amateur) 5-a-side football, spending time with my friends, family and lurcher (Arthur), or trying to learn a new language.
