I invest in Europe-based software and AI founders who are laser-focused on winning the US market

I am a two-time AI founder turned VC. I was early or first in Runna (acquired by Strava), Magrathea, YASO, Duel, and Ctrl Alt.

THE THESIS

I capture the geographic arbitrage between undervalued European talent and the scale of the US market. I back founders who recognize that the US is 10-20x larger than any domestic European market and have the ambition to target it from day one.

THE BACKGROUND

I studied Maths at Trinity Cambridge and AI at Sussex under a mentor of Geoffrey Hinton. I co-created the world's best poker AI, pre-DeepMind, and developed successful AI trading systems. I understand product edge and risk-reward.

THE UNBUNDLED MODEL

I built unbundled vc to move at the speed of the best founders:

• Solo GP: High-conviction decision-making and speed of execution, without the friction of traditional investment committees.
• The Bridge: Warm intros to US funds for strategic US presence.
• Investing: At Pre-Seed and Seed, mostly alongside VC leads.

VALUES

• Bar: I don’t care about your ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or if you are a solo founder. If you're good enough, you're good enough.
