AI is brilliant, but it’s also a confident liar. In the care sector, we never let tech replace human judgment; we let it inform it.

If you're using AI for facts, always ask it to "cite your sources" or provide a link. 

If it can’t, don't trust it blindly. Use it for creativity and structure, use your human brain for the final stamp of approval.

Don’t use AI because it’s "cool", use it because it gives you back 30 minutes of your day to spend with your family, hit the gym, or actually get through your backlog of work.

How are you kicking off your Monday?

Attended a CrowdStrike live cyber simulation event today that was a great reminder that in cybersecurity, the choices we make under pressure truly matter.

It was fascinating to see how different decisions played out in real time and how quickly a small oversight can escalate without strong fundamentals in place.

For me, the biggest takeaway was clear:
Tthe basics still win. Good cyber hygiene, patching, identity protection, least‑privilege access, and clear processes continue to be the difference between containment and chaos.

A really worthwhile session and a great opportunity to reflect on how we strengthen our own cyber resilience every day.
