I also created interest in enhanced recovery after surgery, which resulted in my actively pushing ERAS forward at Houston Methodist Hospital. I also acquired private funding in order to study stress in medical residents learning a new technique.

 department, including projects involving mesothelioma, SCLC, and GIST

•	Patient qualitative interviews, which is part of the validation process for patient-reported 
 outcome tools

In fact, I have pushed whole fields forward (seemingly) effortlessly, including Neuroscience, Cancer Medicine, Patient-Reported Outcomes, Reconstructive Surgery, Community Health, Orthopedics, Mobile Health, and Materials Science.

I see the connection and opportunities across scientific & business fields. As such, I've launched a bleeding-edge tech commercialization company, with our first tech venture being self-healing materials in a variety of use-cases, including the defense & space industries. 

Finally, I'm also a modern-day Renaissance Woman; I love art and music, business and academia, and I live to build community.

I find humor in most situations and construct evidence-based, thoughtful, novel solutions to everyday occurrences, research questions, and business strategy challenges alike.
