Anton Golub is Chief Business Officer of Freedx, a next-gen centralized crypto exchange built for crypto newcomers and experienced traders. 

Anton is also an advisor, founding member and Chairman of SwissAssetDAO.

Anton founded & served as CEO of flovtec, Swiss market-maker providing liquidity solutions to digital asset exchanges, token issuers & protocols and offering investment products for professional & institutional investors. 

Anton is also a co-founder of Trust Square AG, a pre-eminent blockchain technology hub located in Zurich's financial district. 

Anton co-founded Lykke Corp, a blockchain-powered exchange to trade all assets with zero fees, where he served as a Chief Science Officer. 

Prior to Lykke, he worked as a quantitative researcher at Olsen Ltd (successor to Olsen & Associates, founded in 1985), a hedge fund that pioneered the field of high-frequency trading. As a Marie Curie Research Fellow at the Alliance Manchester Business School, Anton worked on high-frequency trading, market microstructure and flash crashes. 

In 2011, he was invited to participate in the Foresight Project - The Future of Computer Trading in Financial Markets, an international project on algorithmic trading funded by HM Treasury in the UK. 

Anton has also been involved in several research projects backed by the European Union (EU) and was on the Supervisory Board for the BigDataFinance project funded through Horizon 2020. He has co-authored 13 academic papers and two books.

Advisor, Founder and President

Co-founded and launched SwissAssetDAO, a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) in Switzerland with the purpose of enabling crypto-native companies to access Real-World Assets (RWAs). 

Together with legal experts conducted a comprehensive global analysis of DAO frameworks and executed a set-up of the legal wrapper as a Swiss Association. Co-wrote the Articles of Association and Whitepaper, and directly contributed to defining the Treasury Policy and Ethics Policy.

Onboarded 100+ members consisting of top crypto, legal, and DAO experts. Leader of the Community workstream and contributor to the Legal and Treasury Management workstreams.

Grew SwissAssetDAO's public profile from a small tight-knight community to one of the most well-known DAOs in Switzerland, and a global leader in the space of RWAs. Represented SwissAssetDAO at numerous high-profile events and conferences. 

Served as a key point of contact for inbound inquiries for the services of RWA advisory and securitization.

US politicians will not allow crypto companies to offer yield on stablecoins

Reason for that is simple:

Yield on stablecoins will draw deposits away from banks and destory their business model.

Why would anyone keep their money as a bank deposit?

Stablecoins are safer than bank deposits.

Stablecoins are backed (mostly) by US government bonds.

US government bonds are safest and most liquid instrument on the planet.

Compare that to bank deposits, where you're exposed to risk of bank's balance-sheet.

Finally, banks pay out very little yield on their bank deposits. 

Banks make money by keeping most of the yield, and passing very little of that to end users. 

Conclusion is straightforward: 

Stablecoins with yield are a danger to banks' business model, so political lobbies will not allow it.

Saqr Mashhor Ereiqat is the Secretary General of the Dubai Digital Asset Association, driving the growth of the digital asset ecosystem. With over 20 years of experience in technology and innovation, he has a proven track record in blockchain, fintech, and govtech across the Middle East, Africa, and beyond.  

Saqr is a co-founder of multiple initiatives, including:  
- Arte.community: Bridging art, technology, and blockchain.  
- The Green Block: Promoting blockchain for sustainability.  
- Crypto Oasis Ventures: Advancing Web3 adoption in the Middle East.  
- Riddermark: A boutique advisory firm scaling fintech, healthtech, and govtech solutions.  

During his 13-year tenure at IBM, Saqr led public sector blockchain projects across 23 countries, helping define Dubai’s government blockchain strategy and working with clients like DHL, Shell, Airtel, and the UAE Prime Minister’s Office. He also established the National Health Lab for Emerging Technology for the Saudi Arabian Government, driving innovation in healthcare.  

Most recently, Saqr contributed to Pakistan’s Digital Nation agenda and serves on the advisory board of the Global Innovation Institute. 

He mentors startups through the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC), the Arab Youth Center, and the Founder Institute, and supports blockchain innovation as a Blockchain Aficionado for the Blockchain Founders Fund.

Sharing a clip from my recent appearance on Noor Dubai (Radio & TV), where we discussed the true scale of the digital transformation.
I often point out a striking statistic: among all emerging technologies, Blockchain and Crypto are the only sectors that have consistently minted new entrants into the global "Top 100 Rich List.”

This is about a fundamental shift in how value is created and distributed. When a new technology rewrites the leaderboard of global wealth in less than a decade, it’s no longer an experiment—it’s a generational opportunity.

The window for early adoption is still open, but the infrastructure is maturing rapidly.

Driving to Abu Dhabi today, I was listening to The Diary Of A CEO again, specifically the episode with Tony Robbins. His insights on the six psychological drivers are profound. Understanding these is a total game-changer for how we show up in our careers and lives. According to Tony, we all prioritize these differently:

Certainty: The need for safety, stability, and the ability to avoid pain and seek pleasure. It’s our survival instinct.

Uncertainty/Variety: The need for the unknown, change, and new stimuli. Without this, we feel bored and stagnant.

Significance: The need to feel unique, important, special, or needed. It drives us to achieve and stand out.

Connection & Love: The need for a closeness and union with other people. It’s the desire to feel part of a community or a relationship.

Growth: The need for an expansion of capacity, capability, or understanding. If we aren't growing, we’re sliding backward.

Contribution: The need to give beyond ourselves. It’s the sense of service and focus on helping, giving to, and supporting others.

It’s fascinating how much our primary "driver" shapes our reality. If you value Certainty over Growth, your life looks very different than someone who prioritizes Significance.

Understanding them can be truly transformative.

At the World Governments Summit in 2023  I had the pleasure of meeting Ray Dalio and get a signed copy of his book Principles for Dealing with the Changing World Order: Why Nations Succeed and Fail. 

This sent me down a rabbit hole of studying economics of the past. Another riveting read along the same context is THE FATE OF EMPIRES and SEARCH FOR SURVIVAL of 1976. 

My conclusion ?! "...and it's all just a little bit of history repeating"
