NAPA AUTO PARTS

Cashier: counting cash drawers, sales, customer services, answering phone calls, using TAMS II, learning about autoparts, ordering products for customers from store website/distributors, preparing orders, dealing with cores/defective products/warranties, researching through manuals/catalogs for certain parts, interchanging the numbers of parts, handing out job applications to applicants, reusing boxes/bags, meeting sales quotas, checking dollar bills, organizing credit card slips/cash slips/charges.  
Inventory: checking merchandise availability, checking products in, stocking shelves with products, updating monthly/quarterly sales tags/magazines/posters, & Quarterly Inventory Classification (Class). 
Deliveries throughout the northern Ventura County area. 
Creating flyers with Microsoft Word to warn customers of limited working hours & store closures during the holidays. 
Preparing & mailing out bills for customers. 
Visiting bank for deposits & change for company. 
Training employees: giving them a tour of the store, teaching them my experiences as an employee, providing them short cuts to improve efficiency, using TAMS II, store website & distributors website to order parts, checking & testing batteries, counting drawers, placing orders, organizing slips, correcting problematic behaviors, advising, etc. 
Maintenance: throwing out trash & recyclables, visiting grocery store to refill 5 gallons of water from water machine, going to the gas station to fill the cars with gas, cleaning, leaving food & water in the fridge, filling ice cube tray with water, store maintenance, restroom maintenance, etc. 
Monitoring, managing & tracking employee work schedules. Letting employees know when they should clock out. Notifying employees when I leave the store for deliveries & visiting post office, bank, grocery stores, etc. Telling the manager that customers want to talk & see him. 
Hosting company parties/potlucks by bringing beverages, pizza, cookies, & Krispy Kreme donuts.
