In college, I ran into a friend that graduated high school a year after me.

She told me she was finalizing the process of selling her company for millions.

I was stunned. How did she get to this point? We went to the same schools. We know the SAME stuff.

This is what she told me:

"At some point you have to decide to improve the way you think. Look at what's serving you and what's not."

That hit me.

So I shifted. I focused on what I actually cared about. Good culture. Impact. Things that energized me instead of drained me.

I’m Eldon Gabriel, an ISC² Certified Cybersecurity professional with a hands-on focus on system administration, security operations, and open-source intelligence. My work is grounded in practical application. As an MCSI Cybersecurity Learner – Level 3, I’ve completed 100+ labs and technical reports aligned with frameworks such as NIST NICE, US MOS, and the ASD Cyber Skills Framework.

I specialize in securing and administering Windows and Linux environments, auditing systems, and strengthening defenses through practical tooling and analysis. My experience includes network architecture, endpoint hardening, and incident response, with a strong emphasis on clear documentation and repeatable security controls.

In parallel, I’ve contributed to AI research as a dataset trainer, supporting data quality and evaluation for machine learning systems. This work strengthened my attention to detail, data integrity, and process-driven problem solving — skills that translate directly to defending systems, assessing risk, and analyzing threats in real-world environments.
