Here’s what slows adoption inside companies:

Leaders who haven’t used AI themselves, but are still expected to roll it out.

Teams told to “experiment” with no time, no direction, and no cover to get it wrong.

An industry obsessed with the 0.04%, the red dots, while ignoring the grey.

And I can tell you why the grey dots stay grey in enterprises:

• Nobody made it about their job. They made it about “AI.”

• Nobody addressed trust. They just said “try it.”

• Nobody equipped leaders. They just told them to “drive adoption.”

We argue about which model is best. I do it too. Meanwhile, we barely talk about why most people don’t use any model at all.
