I spent six years in the trenches of outbound sales. Not theorizing. Not advising from the sidelines. Actually doing it, building lists, testing subject lines at 2am, watching reply rates climb (or tank), and figuring out what separates campaigns that book meetings from ones that get ignored.

I learned that outbound isn't a tactic. It's a system. And most companies are missing pieces:

They have a CRM but no clean data feeding it.
They're sending emails but can't get past spam filters.
They know their ICP in theory but haven't stress-tested it in real conversations.
They want SDRs to perform but haven't built them repeatable plays.

So I started building complete systems for B2B companies, the full stack from infrastructure to execution.

Here's what that looks like:

First, the foundation: domains, inboxes, deliverability setup, tools (Clay, Apollo, HubSpot), and automations that don't break when you scale.

Then, the targeting: defining your actual ICP based on what converts, not what sounds good in a deck. Building lists that matter. Developing offers that get replies.

Finally, the motion: multi-channel campaigns (email, LinkedIn, calls), SDR playbooks and training, live campaign management, and AI-assisted research and personalization that speeds up what used to take hours.

I don't just hand you a strategy doc and disappear. I build it, run it with you, and optimize it based on what the data tells us.

I work with tech companies, startups, and SMBs that need someone who can actually operate, not someone who'll tell them what they should do and leave them to figure out the how.

The IRC's Airbel Impact Lab develops and scales cost-effective solutions for conflict and disaster-affected communities. I am a user centered designer within the Climate resilient agro-pastoral livelihoods, one of our global research priorities (GRIPs). As the Climate GRIP, we generate innovative approaches to enhance the resilience of communities facing climate change and conflict. Our current portfolio centers on improving seed security and strengthening disaster risk reduction across 8 countries.  

I am currently a Project Co-lead and Designer for projects in Pakistan, Somalia and South Sudan. By leveraging a holistic approach that integrates design thinking, behavioral insights, and our collective expertise we strive to make a lasting impact on the clients that we serve and co-create with.

GROOTS Kenya

My consulting stint with GROOTS Kenya saw me work on a €5.6M European Union-funded project in Tana River County targeting 3,000 households called REBUILD (Community Resilience Building in Livelihood and Disaster Risk Management). REBUILD seeks to increase the resilience of communities to drought and other effects of climate change through smart agriculture, value addition, improved marketing, crop diversification and capacity building. As Research consultant, I oversaw research design and supervised the mapping of 3,280 households by 45 mapping assistants. The mapping report I authored is now guiding project design and implementation.

Yale School of the Environment

This was a collaborative project between the United Nations Development Program, the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, the University of Washington and Turkey. The goal was to develop a computerized and integrated environmental resource management system for Turkey with a focus on the realization of 4 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These were goals 1 (No Poverty), 6 (Quality Water for All), 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and 15 (Life on Land).

Research Assistant

Grassroot Organizations Operating Together in Sisterhood (GROOTS) is a nation-wide movement of grassroots women-led community based organizations (CBOs) and self help groups. It seeks to have grassroot women as change agents at all levels. Project areas include rural development, climate change mainstreaming, capacity building, gender equality and advocacy.

Kenya Red Cross

Working together with the branch coordinator, we organized community outreach projects and programs, undertook community sensitization drives, and crafted programs that sought to attract more young people to volunteerism, community development and leadership. As a key achievement, we were able to connect and engage with more partners, especially on community development projects.

I am passionate about the alleviation of multidimensional poverty through user centered problem solving. I work to weave climate resilience and disaster risk reduction into programs and interventions in resource constrained and fragile environments. 

I have 8 years of experience as a design researcher in climate resilience, sustainable development and gender, spanning across Eastern Africa, South Asia and the United States. My masters studies at Yale University focused on the linkages between research and sustainable development.
