to even the messiest, most “unsolvable” challenges:

1️⃣ Name the limiting beliefs
• Say them out loud:
 “We’ve tried everything.”
 “Leadership won’t support it.”
 “It’s too late.”
• These aren’t facts — they’re stories.
• Call them out. Break their grip.

2️⃣ Ask: “What if we were starting from scratch?”
• Pretend the old plan doesn’t exist.

When Henry Cavill was sixteen, 
Russell Crowe came to his school to film a movie.

As an extra, Henry got the rare opportunity to meet
Crowe and asked thoughtful questions about acting.

He told him, “I want to be an actor someday.”

The interaction made an impression.
Before leaving, Crowe had a signed photo delivered 
to Cavill with this message:

“Dear Henry, the journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step. -Russell”

Thirteen years later, 𝘔𝘢𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘚𝘵𝘦𝘦𝘭 is in production. 
Cavill is cast as Superman.
Russell Crowe is playing his father.

After working together on set,
Crowe finally asked him:

“Do I know you from somewhere?”

Henry smiled.
He’d been waiting for this moment.

“Yes. Do you remember a young kid at Stowe School 
who asked you a ton of questions about acting?”

Crowe stared. And then it clicked.

That boy with the questions —
That boy who wanted to be an actor —
Was now wearing the cape.
