As an intern Google Ads Specialist at Flowboost for the past 5 months, I have been working intensively to strengthen the company's marketing strategies and streamline workflows.

My work mainly consists of:

- Normalizing and optimizing various workflows.
- Writing scripts in the Google Ads library, such as the well-known Labelizer script.
- Writing relevant content for LinkedIn and Flowboost's website.
- Organizing and conducting workshops, courses and webinars to share knowledge and best practices about Google Ads.
- Drafting an in-depth professional paper on a specific topic related to Google Ads, where I researched Flowboost's target audience, products and competitors.

In addition to the above tasks, I also have the responsibility of customer contact, which helped to strengthen customer relationships and understand their specific needs around Google Ads.

One of our favourite clients Bee Craft (from Golfbreaks) is joining us on 15th December in running 5km for Teens Unite Fighting Cancer.

For those that know the lovely Bee Craft, they may know that she doesn’t love running. However, she is going the extra mile for Teens Unite Fighting Cancer and has been training for the run! 

Last weekend, she completed 5km on her own in preparation.

We are super proud of her, and selfishly I’m hoping this is the start of her running career!

How are we future proofing House of Performance (HOP) for 2026 and beyond?

Our answer is:
1️⃣  Flexible working models
2️⃣  Investment in creative solutions
3️⃣  Employing consultants NOT execs and analysts. The future of paid media is consultancy and we want our team to have the right mindset, that starts with their title.

We set HOP up with the dream of being a consultancy not an agency.
We do agency stuff now, because, people wanted it and it's good experience for our team.
Our passion lies in the consultancy work we do for clients, whether it's a 1 day project, a longer audit or ongoing strategic support. We flex what we offer to suit what people need (rather than trying to fit a square peg in a round hole).

I am so GUTTED to have missed GIVING Tuesday (I am a day late). 
One thing I love about working for House of Performance (HOP) is everyone's dedication to raising money for charity. 
This year already, we have done 2 initiatives: 1 for The Survivors Trust and 1 for Parkinson's UK as a team. We have also had some personal events run alongside this. 
As we go into December, we have our last charity initiative of the year. 
This time it is to support Teens Unite Fighting Cancer, and we are super keen to raise as much money as we can for such an important cause. 
Teens Unite doesn't attempt to cure cancer, they enhance young peoples lives who are impacted by cancer. 

Imagine you are an 18 year old person, who has been in treatment, all of your friends are doing A Levels or qualifications and potentially going to university or starting jobs. You can't because of this really annoying disease. In your head, your life is over. You feel isolated and alone. This is where Teens Unite Fighting Cancer comes in, they offer opportunities for teens to do activities, retreats etc and meet other people they can relate too. I believe this is in simple words, life changing. 

I was lucky enough to be invited to a Teens Unite event earlier this year where I got to meet some of the young people impacted by cancer and hear their stories. The happiness they spoke of, at meeting other people in the same "camp" as them, was inspiring. To be honest, their enthusiasm, passion and honestly was so inspiring and my words cannot do them justice. 

House of Performance (HOP) are attempting to raise £1000 (minimum) for Teens Unite Fighting Cancer this December. We are running 5km for the charity dressed as santa. There are 22 of us running/walking/doing this challenge on Sunday 14th December. If you would like to join us, please say! All are welcome.
