Project Summary: Skills for Employment Investment Program (SEIP) is a project of Finance Division (Ministry of Finance) of Government of Bangladesh implemented by Skills Development Coordination and Monitoring Unit (SDCMU) which is supported by Asian Development Bank (ADB). SDCMU is utilizing the funds provided by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) under Loan 3131-BAN: Skills for Employment Investment Program (SEIP) to provide assistance towards the end of skilling 1.25 million youth by 2021 in the focus sectors.

Bangladesh Association for Software and Information Services (BASIS), through Skills for Employment Investment Program (SEIP) will train up 23,000 over the contract period of 3 years and will place them in suitable jobs.

Job Description: I am working as the Deputy Chief Coordinator of SEIP project for BASIS project implementation unit. I am responsible for ensuring overall effectiveness of skills training programs by planning, managing, coordinating and implementing the activities undertaken for skills training in different training institutions to achieve  the officially acknowledge training and job placement targets for BASIS.

Detailed Responsibilities:

 i) Apprising BASIS Standing Committee about the progress of training programs; 
ii) Ensuring  that key staff of implementation unit  are productive in terms of service delivery;
 iii) responsible for achieving  enrollment, training completion  and job placement  targets; 
iv)  Updating, developing and finalizing course curricula/standards and relevant learning materials and ensuring quality of training program, assessment and certification 
v) Responsible for expenditure with due diligence 
vi) keeping liaise with SDCMU for timely receiving of the grants 
vii) facilitation of external auditing, physical verifications  and  submission of  periodical report on financial,  training and placements.

Deputy Chief Coordinator | BASIS-SEIP Project

My Contribution:
1.Prepared the technical part of the three yearlong business plan of the SEIP project and also supported in the Financial Part.
2.Prepared the promotional plan and setting up the divisional headquarters in the six other divisional headquarters.
3.Hired the appropriate trainers and assist the course curriculum designer to design the industry oriented realistic training content. 
4.Is responsible to select trainees, enrollment, certification and job placement and retention up to 6 months
5.Established goals and milestones as per the desired results to be generated by the project

Project Name:Fast Track Future Leader (FTFL),Supported by World Bank and ICT Division,Ministry of Post and Telecommunication, Government of Bangladesh
My Contribution:
1.Guided in designing and developing projects.
2.Collaborated with management teams to deliver assigned programs – Developed group and individual timelines, assessed/identified potential bottlenecks in each project/program process.
3.Directed the recruitment process of key employees and the selection of trainer and consultants as well outsource-vendors.
4.Assisted in documenting for the Tender Documents including developing EOI based on ToR, preparing RFP, writing inception report and designing the training curriculum and making changes as per needs.
6.Arranging the Job Fair for the placement of the trainees of seven different tracks in the ICT industry.

Started my own venture Green Grocery in 2020 and successfully raised angel investment.Beside Green Grocery, I also invested in a numbers of startups to help them to grow.

গেল দেড় বছর আমরা সবাই শুধু সংস্কারের কথা বললাম-শুনলাম—সেই নিয়ত নিয়েও গল্প, ঠাট্টা দরকার। একটা গনআন্দোলন গেল, হাজারো মানুষ খুন হলো , গেল ১৭ মাসের দেশের সব মেসড-আপ পরিস্থিতি—সবকিছু সহ্য করা কি শুধুমাত্র রাষ্ট্রের নেতৃত্ব পরিবর্তনের জন্য?! সম্ভবত না!!

আলোচনা দরকার, আলোচনা চলুক।
