Junior SEO Strategist

Meet the polish wizard. 

Eryk joined us a few months ago as our "GTM Engineer" at Scalerrs.

Fancy word, but it’s all to say all things sales.

So alongside Maria 
he keeps the team busy with new work.

Which is too busy, apparently, recently? ( Altug / Ahmed ) 👀

Overall, we’ve hit the ground running with Eryk. 

Some things we’ve done are:

-> We’ve already built our CRM (Can’t believe we didn’t have one before...)
-> Already generated +40K/MRR from outbound which will be around $720K LTV projected
-> Got key evergreen outbound workflows built up 
-> Organised some online webinars & in person workshops 

So for Scalerrs we don’t see outbound, as pure outbound the way most people see it.

We see it mainly as a channel that does the final leg for working our leads and working different intent signals.

As this is how you squeeze value out of marketing efforts.

So the goal for the next few months is:

->  Build more intent signals with the marketing team. Which can then be used to fuel outbound motions. 
-> Capitalize on a few pure outbound intents with good old fashioned cold email.
-> Setup our reporting and finance metrics to understand our numbers better. (Specifically LTV/CAC, Payback Period, Projected LTGP)

So we can make better decisions in forecasting and hiring.

And we need to crack paid Ads so we can fuel intents from LinkedIn Ads into outbound too.

Reddit is NOT your typical marketing playground.

Most brands are getting this wrong.

Because they’re still treating it like just another marketing channel.

But it’s not built for promotion.

It’s built to help people out with their questions.

So I’ve listed below the most common mistakes people make on Reddit (so you don’t).

And here's what to do instead:

✅ Join conversations that genuinely relate to your product so you can contribute in a meaningful way

✅ Target smaller niche subreddits; these often have less competition, and the conversations are often more closely related to your product

✅ Keep all contributions highly qualitative and value-driven first 

✅ Treat Reddit like a community, not like a marketing playground

✅ Use accounts with real comment history, karma and cross-subreddit participation (Pay attention to CQS scores too)

✅ Always follow subreddit rules and inside tone of voices. You need to understand what that community hates this week and who the loud voices are. Knowing this will determine long-lasting survival.

✅ When mentioning your product, only softly recommend your own brand if it's genuinely helpful to the user trying to solve a specific problem

✅ In the aim of AI search, make sure to target conversations actually shaping your key LLM prompts (Often the Reddit conversations on page 1 of Google are the most influential ones, as they are being scraped, followed by a few other niche conversations nested inside the Sub Reddit)

There are obviously quite a few more rules to respect, but I'll keep that for another post.

According to Profound, Reddit’s back on the rise!

A few weeks ago, Reddit citations took a hit inside ChatGPT search results (On paper that is..)

(Even though Google’s Reddit influence is still as strong as ever.)

But now it’s making a comeback in ChatGPT too

According to Nick Lafferty from Profound, Reddit citations in ChatGPT just jumped from 1% to 3% in a week

That might not sound like much, but it’s definitely a signal. Reddit is far from out

And in fact, it never really was, since LLMs are retrieval engines that pull information ranking on page 1

So the Reddit thread ranking in Google for your keywords is always a point of influence for AI search engines pulling from that SERP

Also, let's not forget the deals made...

Both Google and OpenAI still have data partnerships worth hundreds of millions

-> Google for $60M
-> OpenAI for $200M

This all still means that:

Showing up on Reddit will keep feeding both Google and LLM visibility

Reddit is still a cheat code for owning a larger share of voice on Google’s SERP directly

For this reason, at Scalerrs, we’ve never treated Reddit like a side channel

It’s part of the SEO stack, and a key part of it too.

We work on this every day for clients.
