•	Deal with all Employment law and HR matters

•	Document and policy drafting

•	Implementation of documents and policy including manager coaching

•	Day to day advise to business owner or HR Department relating to employee issues including performance management, absence management, conduct issues, grievances

•	Management of cases involving disciplinary (conduct/ performance/ absence management, etc), grievances, redundancy process (including running consultation and all formal stages up to dismissal), TUPE (strategic advising prior to and consultation process and post transfer transition stage)

•	Consultation for contract change and employee terms negotiation

•	Negotiation of compromise or COT3 agreements, with ACAS or claimant solicitors, both prior and post litigation

•	Employee relations advising and HR process implementation

•	Assistance to litigation department for cases I managed that had become litigious including witness statement drafting, client coaching for cross examination

•	Ensuring HR Consultants continually developed Employment law knowledge via the medium of regular bi-monthly legal updates

•	Legal research for particular points of law 

•	Assisting with preparation for defence of client Tribunal claims, including preparing bundles, drafting ET3 response, witness statements and counsel briefings.

•	Managed small portfolio of clients via the advice line service, giving Employment law and HR advice on day to day matters.
