Klarity Coaching

I have designed, developed and delivered workshops to meet my client needs ranging from a half-day workshop to full-year programs. Workshops are focused to meet client needs inspiring them to make necessary changes in their lives. Whether you are a corporate team or an individual, defining and living into your values in a mindful way will empower your life and create results for you.

In a corporate setting, we focus on skills that enable people to do their jobs more effectively. While the emphasis maybe on issues such as effective communication or trust, the feedback I get is that “Yes, it helped my corporate job but I also use these skills at home and in other parts of my life.” When we grow and develop, it affects all parts of our life and we make the world a better place.

I’m fortunate that my clients vary from preschool administrations to tech geniuses, from artists to lawyers and from students to doctors. We all face challenges and can benefit from coaching to help us live more gracefully and with more dignity. 

In addition to corporate programs, I also design and deliver programs for individuals.  For example, I have taught a New Year, New You, designed to help people focus their energy on creating a fantastic New Year.  

The Set in Motion programs is designed for individuals that would like to move their lives forward with support. The first step is to identify and clarify the direction as well as the challenges that lay ahead. Next we focus on building skills that allow people to make step by step progress toward achieving their goals. Here is what one participant said:

Convergys eLearning (formerly DigitalThink)

Convergys bought DigitalThink while I was working there.  DigitalThink was a small company focused on building learning solutions for its clients.  Convergys acquired DT to add an elearning platform to their portfolio.  

When I arrived at DigitalThink I focused on helping many of the struggling stragetic clients and created healthier relationships with them.  I coordinated with Sales to increase our services revenue and find new opportunities within these clients.  As DT began to look at the possibility of being bought, I organized projects to create success for the clients in a way that supported the sale and the transition.  

At Convergys, I led the planning, design and development of the largest e-learning platform for a UK healthcare client.  Managed multi-site global development and client implementation teams creating new courseware simulation design technologies to meet customer needs.  

Developed two strategic client relationships and led associated projects for a PSO organization and electronics retailer. 

As Director of the Central and Strategic Customer Center grew revenue by identifying additional divisions and creating a successful process for upgrading customers to premium services.

Bluedot Software Inc.  (marketing and event software)

Bluedot was a small startup software company that was looking to reorganized and split Engineering from Professional Services.  As Director of Professional Services I built the Professional Services and Customer Services teams, and developed implementation methodology.  I work internally to create process to go from customer to professional services to engineering and back out.  I reported to the CEO and worked to help build a company that could be sold or transition into the next phase of development.

Evolve

When I joined Evolve software they were growing and flourishing.  I started in professional services and help implement new methodology and train new consultants.  I also worked directly with several big clients during the implementation cycle to ensure success.   I transitioned into a presales role allowing me to demo the product to help new potential customers understand how the software could be used to meet their business need.  During this time the business climate became challenging.  Evolve had several rounds of funding but did not have the sales to match.   This created internal strife and changed the culture.

Responsible for design and delivery of localized financial products.  Led and managed globalization teams in Spain, Argentina, Brazil and Japan ranging in size from 6- 40 people.  

Implemented full life cycle financial software implementations on time and on budget with customized feature for financial products.

Turned around customer implementation facing critical challenges domestically and internationally.

I am grateful everyday for the work that I do and energized by helping people develop their potential.  

When I was in college studying Electrical Engineering, I never could have imagined a path leading me to be a leadership and mindfulness coach.  I started programming and creating computer based systems.  Now I explore how humans are wired and what makes them tick. I combine my discipline, creativity, analytical rigor and intuition to clarify their vision and align their actions to create the best probability of success.  

As a corporate consultant I discovered that the best part of my job was working with people to help them grow.  I loved watching them transform and take on new challenges.  I treasured knowing I was part of their solution. 

When I found coaching, it created a bridge for me to connect and utilize diverse parts of my life experience. Early on, years of martial arts taught me to connect with myself and developed my leadership skills. My engineering background honed my analytical thinking while working in the corporate world broadened my perspective and deepened my insight into problem solving and human development approaches. Coaching itself has deepened my empathy for the challenges we face on our journeys and clarified my commitment to use all of my skills (and passion) to empower people to create inspired and successful lives.
