Being a creator is easier than ever.

I was reminded of this last week speaking at Because It’s Christmas, a lovely event hosted by Eldred Wee and Sabrina Princessa Wang.

During the panel on the Speaker–Creator Economy & AI, I had the privilege of sharing the stage with Cindi Wirawan 林幸妮 and De Zhong Chia.

Throughout the discussion, one common thread kept surfacing.

AI can amplify your voice. But it can’t tell you what you stand for.

Sabrina Princessa Wang posed this question,

"If you cloned yourself using AI, would your clone still be an authentic version of you?" 

I personally think that in a world of AI content, authenticity becomes your differentiator.
Your voice, perspectives and lived experiences. 

The other speaker, Vicky Vaswani also reminded us that selling is still about using your voice to build trust.

While Hitesh Ramchandani brought the room to a standstill with his personal journey of overcoming cerebral palsy.

2025 stretched me in ways I didn’t expect.

I’m ending this year deeply grateful, not just for the opportunities, but for the people.

This year, I was invited into rooms I once only observed from the outside. To train. To speak. To sit alongside founders who are also building incredible businesses.

I had the privilege of empowering clients making brave career pivots.
Supporting startups as they moved from uncertainty to clarity.

What drives me has never really changed.

Ashley asked me this question in her podcast
and my answer surprised her. It’s NotebookLM.

I use it as a second brain.

When I step into a client niche, I usually start with zero context.

Years ago that meant months of reading, interviewing, and messy research
before a single line of copy could be written.

Now I upload everything into NotebookLM:
• YouTube explainers
• briefs and Google Docs
• eBooks and decks
• internal notes

Then I interrogate it.
I ask questions like a curious operator would.
I get tight summaries.
I let it draft briefing outlines for presentations.

Sometimes I even generate audio so I can learn by listening instead of staring at the screen.

This helps me to understand the industry in days, not months.

AI doesn’t replace the craft.
It compresses the time needed to craft.

Your brain has limited capacity. Mine certainly does.
So I’d rather spend that capacity on strategy -
on how to position an offer and translate real human problems into copy that moves pipeline.

That’s the real leverage.

If your team already uses ChatGPT but still feels stuck, noisy, or slow to create quality content, the bottleneck is rarely the tool.

It’s the process you wrap around it.
