I am currently supporting Ovation through its biggest period of growth yet. I manage our team and oversee our demand and lead generation, which looks like  website, digital advertising, email marketing, social media, design, video creation, marketing ops, event marketing, and more… whatever we need on a given day.

Once I started part time, I gained more control over the strategic vision of the podcast. I developed SEO strategies, communications templates, and production improvements that led us to double our listener base. I produced the podcast through episode #130 and thousands of downloads. 

During this time I also started assisting in other marketing efforts such as:
-Creating video content for Ovation such as testimonial videos and compilations. 
-Running social media pages for Ovation. 
-Creating written content such as emails, e-books, blog posts, and landing pages. 
-Participating in digital marketing efforts such as managing LinkedIn campaigns, SEO research, and building web pages.

I started at Ovation as an unpaid intern. They shortly started paying me, and for the rest of my summer internship I worked on launching the company's podcast, Give an Ovation. I was required to quickly learn the Adobe suite, Wordpress, and other softwares, and helped push through our first 50 episodes.

Marketing Lab at BYU Marriott

The Marketing Lab at BYU Marriott is a professional marketing consulting agency where I worked with Marketing Seniors and MBA students. I was on the analytics team where we worked in R and excel to analyze data and automate manual processes.

 I was also on two large projects: -Segmentation and feature optimization analysis for Brain Stride, a holistic health evaluation app. Conducted in-depth interviews, created a nationally distributed survey in Qualtrics, analyzed the data, and gave a presentation detailing our recommendations and other insights. 

-Market validation for Boley Cryo Agent, a nationwide toy manufacturer who was launching a line of dart blasters. Conducted in-depth interviews, focus groups, and built two nationwide surveys in Qualtrics. Analyzed the data and reported. You should see Cryo Agent blasters in stores Fall 2023.

I've played piano for 20 years and taught throughout high school and college. I love playing for weddings, banquets, and any other events. I can provide vocals as well, which you can hear on the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' 2017 Youth Album song "Thy Will Be Done". I co-wrote and performed the track which now has over a million streams.

I graduated from BYU with my Bachelor's in Marketing. Some of my most formative experiences were at the Marketing Lab, a professional marketing consulting agency where I worked with well-known brands designing national surveys, performing in depth data analysis, providing brand consultations, segmentation analysis, and other qualitative/quantitative projects.

On the side, I sing at weddings with my wife and hit the gym consistently enough to put it here but not consistently enough that you would guess by looking at me.
