When I get stuck or feel like quitting..... I ask myself 'Why did I start here?"....

I reflect on times when:

I had zero likes.
I had no comments.
I had no connections.
I had no idea about LinkedIn.
I had no clarity on my target audience.

While I had nothing concrete, my purpose kept me moving forward.

And that purpose is still there...
I am now a better person than I was 3 years ago...
So, I gather myself, take a break and refresh my mind.

You don't need to work 24/7 to reach your goal.

Take breaks.
Plan strategically.
Prioritise the tasks.
Spend time with your family.

Nothing is important than your peace of mind...

Failure and rejection are part of the journey.
I consider them as learnings and keep moving forward.

It's not easy.
The pain is real.

But nothing big will happen without struggle.

To someone who is struggling right now - "This too shall pass...keep moving".

Last year, a founder approached me. He was posting 4 to 5 days a week.
Great consistency. Zero results.

No leads.
No conversations.
No real authority.

He asked me, "I think I need to post even more. Can you help?"

But when I looked at his content, the problem wasn't frequency.
It was trust.

Every post was surface-level.
Tips. Quotes. Generic motivation.

Nothing that made people say,
"I trust this person to solve my problem."

So we discussed, and I suggested a simple shift.

Instead of posting more, we started posting trust content - the type of content that signals expertise, competence, and clarity.

2 months later, he could see a change in his metrics - not just numbers, but who connects with him.

No big change was made... except the type of content.


📌Bottom line:

If you're a founder, you don't need to post more.
You need to show more of how you think, how you operate, and how you solve problems.

That's what turns an audience into believers -
and believers into clients.

Here's what I've learned...

To convert your audience, you first need to educate them.
Then you show them how good you are at solving the problem.

People don't wake up to buy your product/service.

They log into LinkedIn feeling stuck, confused, or unsure what's going wrong.

Your content's first job is to put words to that feeling.

Here's a simple technique to maintain your consistency on LinkedIn…

Stop trying to create content every day.
Start trying to collect content every day.

Here's what I mean:

Most people sit in front of a blank screen and hope ideas will magically appear.

But consistency doesn't come from creativity on demand - it comes from a system that captures ideas as they happen.

Try this 3-step technique:

1. Create an "Idea Inbox".
A simple notes folder where every thought, insight, story, or client conversation goes in. No polishing. No editing. Just raw ideas.

2. Collect 3 micro-insights daily.
You don't need big stories. A mistake you made, a lesson from a meeting, a question a client asked - these become powerful posts.

3. Turn your inbox into content every weekend.
Block 30 minutes to turn your rough notes into 3-4 posts for the week. Now you're consistent without pressure.

Finally, schedule your posts...that's it.

The truth is -
Consistency is not just about discipline.
It's about designing a system that makes inconsistency impossible.

Start collecting.
Start posting.
Start showing up for the audience who is waiting to hear from you.

For almost a year, I showed up on LinkedIn with hesitation.

Not because I didn't know what to write…
But because I felt like nothing I said was "good enough."

I'd write a post, delete it.
Rewrite it, overthink it.
And by the time I finally posted, the energy was already dead.

I was treating LinkedIn like an exam.
Every post felt like a performance.

I wasn't building a presence - I was trying to avoid judgment.

And slowly… 

the platform that was supposed to help me grow started making me feel small.

Thought of quitting flashed in often!!

That's the time I realised I was deviating from my purpose.
