DataCamp

I worked in a team of 3 engineers at DataCamp to automate the certification process for Data Scientists and Data Analysts. The original process required a lot of manual work, so we built a recording system to streamline it.

We used Twilio for the recording function, NestJs for the backend, and React for the frontend. Now, participants can record their project presentations without having to manually schedule sessions, making the certification process more efficient.

We also created a grading platform for the evaluators where they can watch the recorded presentations and grade them using the scales and requirement tables provided on the same screen.

The backend of the grading platform was built using NestJs, with a flexible, scalable architecture. For the frontend, we used React. We also integrated with Twilio APIs for managing video recordings and used JWT for user authentication.

It was rewarding to see users appreciate the new system. It made the process quicker and more straightforward.

The result is a platform where building compliant, best-in-class digital onboarding flows can be done in minutes, without writing a single line of code.
