I have directed three independent cancer institutes, collectively representing 17 hospitals and 12 cancer centers.  I am a hematologist and medical oncologist who has been the institutional principal investigator on nearly 100 clinical trials involving breast cancer, myeloma, prostate cancer, lung cancer, melanoma, ovarian cancer, head and neck cancer, myelodysplastic syndrome, CLL, DLBCL, esophageal cancer, etc.  I was on three papers published in The New England Journal of Medicine (prostate cancer, chronic neutrophilic leukemia, lung cancer) and two in Lancet (Shingles vaccine and head and neck cancer).  I am board certified in hematology, medical oncology, internal medicine, and artificial intelligence in medicine.

I resisted the trend towards subspecialization in my career as I feel ideation often happens at the level of the forest, not the trees.  Many of the greatest future innovations will be at the interface of various disciplines. 

My area of clinical expertise is precision medicine, and my ability to treat patients in all hematology/medical oncology disciplines uniquely positions me to sequence molecular-based therapies in the context of conventional therapy and clinical trials.

I am the CEO and Founder of three companies:  CancerClarity, CancerLight, and Revolution Cancer Medical Care PLLC.  We are early in our development as we hope to disrupt the clinical trial, patient education, and clinical care forums.  Aside from building my two companies, I am a consulting medical director for 2 phase 1 Xbiotech clinical trials (pancreatic cancer), consult for numerous other pharmaceutical companies, and see patients full-time in the clinic as a hematologist/medical oncologist.  I recently turned down several high-visibility positions to pursue my vision.

My singular focus is to help as many people as I can in the shortest time frame possible.

Initially a Study Director for Synovate Healthcare, acquired by Ipsos on 10/2011,  then advanced through positions of increased leadership responsibility within Ipsos to become Senior Research Manager. In this role, I led and coordinated all aspects of the research process from proposal writing and research design, analysis, and interpretation of results as well as preparation of reports and delivery of presentations for annual research portfolio of over $650K.  

⇛ Managed domestic and global quantitative oncology market research with physicians, patients, and HCPs, across the brand lifecycle. 

⇛ Proposed a custom methodological solution for client with immuno-oncology agent under development in need of baseline market read to measure brand's performance against key business metrics once approved. 

✓ Won initial proposal, delivered relevant and actionable insights, and secured renewed tracking business in subsequent years, including ~$500K for 2020. 

⇛ Proposed methodological improvements of long-running tracking study for an established brand in a rare tumor study.  

✓ Awarded initial tracking work for that brand, which grew to include separate sales force effectiveness research for the brand as well as additional research for a separate oncology asset owned by the client's organization.   

✓ The research has continued from 2018 through 2020, now amounting to $800K+ per year. 

⇛ Created automated timeline calculator, with customizable inputs in MS Excel for pasting into emails or MS Office documents, which was adopted company-wide to improve efficiency of market research project management.
