I have directed three independent cancer institutes, collectively representing 17 hospitals and 12 cancer centers.  I am a hematologist and medical oncologist who has been the institutional principal investigator on nearly 100 clinical trials involving breast cancer, myeloma, prostate cancer, lung cancer, melanoma, ovarian cancer, head and neck cancer, myelodysplastic syndrome, CLL, DLBCL, esophageal cancer, etc.  I was on three papers published in The New England Journal of Medicine (prostate cancer, chronic neutrophilic leukemia, lung cancer) and two in Lancet (Shingles vaccine and head and neck cancer).  I am board certified in hematology, medical oncology, internal medicine, and artificial intelligence in medicine.

I resisted the trend towards subspecialization in my career as I feel ideation often happens at the level of the forest, not the trees.  Many of the greatest future innovations will be at the interface of various disciplines. 

My area of clinical expertise is precision medicine, and my ability to treat patients in all hematology/medical oncology disciplines uniquely positions me to sequence molecular-based therapies in the context of conventional therapy and clinical trials.

I am the CEO and Founder of three companies:  CancerClarity, CancerLight, and Revolution Cancer Medical Care PLLC.  We are early in our development as we hope to disrupt the clinical trial, patient education, and clinical care forums.  Aside from building my two companies, I am a consulting medical director for 2 phase 1 Xbiotech clinical trials (pancreatic cancer), consult for numerous other pharmaceutical companies, and see patients full-time in the clinic as a hematologist/medical oncologist.  I recently turned down several high-visibility positions to pursue my vision.

My singular focus is to help as many people as I can in the shortest time frame possible.

Manager, Strategic Feasibility 

Captain: Acts as primary point of contact for the SIA Country Project Team in USA/Canada and 
coordinates SIA Country Team activities and updates to the team. Provides project specific local
submission strategy and maintains a clear understanding of the country status details. Responsible for
identifying, escalating & mitigating risks, driving efficiencies and improving team ability to hit site
activation projections. Works with the STM and the other project stakeholders, streamlines
communication in and out of the SIA Country Team. Drives the complete country critical path to site
activation and facilitates handover to Clinical Management Team. 
 Occasionally, when needed, liaise with the Sponsor to discuss and implement North America Start-Up activities. 
 Prepare, review and coordinate local regulatory submissions (MoH, EC, additional special national local applications if applicable), in alignment with global submission strategy. 
 Develops and implements local submission strategy and provides technical expertise and coordination oversight for projects in collaboration with relevant internal departments. 
 Primary contacts for investigators and for local regulatory departments to ensure submissions are
managed in a timely manner. 
 Key-contact at country level for all submission-related activities and participate as required in Submission Team Meetings, Review Meetings and Project Team meetings 
 Ensures alignment of submission process for sites and study are aligned to the critical path for site
activation. 
 Prepare the regulatory compliance review packages, as applicable, as well as liaise within SIA locally to ensure local submission activity is planned and delivered in accordance with global project submission strategy.

•	Develops site lists, including research from internal and external sources to ensure the site list is reflective of the defined site profile. Ensures current investigator and site staff contact details are appropriately maintained in PPD systems. 
•	Accountable for completion of the ‘Site Interest Plan’ in CTMS and collection and delivery of associated documents from investigators and site personnel. Document in real time all communication, attempts and follow up associated with site contact and survey responses.  
•	Reviews survey data to ensure responses are logical, complete and reflective of the question asked. 
•	Works in collaboration with SF Specialist to achieve targeted response goals for assigned projects. Communicates with the Strategic Feasibility team, appropriate SI&A and clinical personnel regarding site issues and feasibility risks.  
•	Ensures an efficient, effective plan is in place for site contact and follow up.  Ensures compliance with the plan and escalate concerns/non-compliance to SF Specialist and SF Manager.
•	Serves as the local expert regarding site capacity and expertise. Works with key local personnel to gather knowledge base and recommend additional sites. Harnesses this knowledge base when performing local tiering of sites. 
•	Where applicable, develops and maintains relationship with client local affiliates
•	Champions the inclusion of Strategic Collaboration sites into the feasibility process
•	Conducts phone interviews, scripted or non-scripted, with physicians and other site personnel to discuss standard of care and obtain protocol-level input to support trial optimization projects

Feasibility & Site Liaison Associate

Responsible for providing project administrative support to Clinical Team Managers, Project Managers and/or CRAs in Site Intelligence Activation.

•	Responsible for communicating with sites for scheduling pre-study visits, discussing feasibility concerns and/or questions, and setting a remarkable first-impression of PPD.
•	Responsible for scheduling on-site and remote pre-study visits for approximately fifteen (15) SIA CRAs in addition to multiple clinical CRAs across North America.
