I have directed three independent cancer institutes, collectively representing 17 hospitals and 12 cancer centers.  I am a hematologist and medical oncologist who has been the institutional principal investigator on nearly 100 clinical trials involving breast cancer, myeloma, prostate cancer, lung cancer, melanoma, ovarian cancer, head and neck cancer, myelodysplastic syndrome, CLL, DLBCL, esophageal cancer, etc.  I was on three papers published in The New England Journal of Medicine (prostate cancer, chronic neutrophilic leukemia, lung cancer) and two in Lancet (Shingles vaccine and head and neck cancer).  I am board certified in hematology, medical oncology, internal medicine, and artificial intelligence in medicine.

I resisted the trend towards subspecialization in my career as I feel ideation often happens at the level of the forest, not the trees.  Many of the greatest future innovations will be at the interface of various disciplines. 

My area of clinical expertise is precision medicine, and my ability to treat patients in all hematology/medical oncology disciplines uniquely positions me to sequence molecular-based therapies in the context of conventional therapy and clinical trials.

I am the CEO and Founder of three companies:  CancerClarity, CancerLight, and Revolution Cancer Medical Care PLLC.  We are early in our development as we hope to disrupt the clinical trial, patient education, and clinical care forums.  Aside from building my two companies, I am a consulting medical director for 2 phase 1 Xbiotech clinical trials (pancreatic cancer), consult for numerous other pharmaceutical companies, and see patients full-time in the clinic as a hematologist/medical oncologist.  I recently turned down several high-visibility positions to pursue my vision.

My singular focus is to help as many people as I can in the shortest time frame possible.

I am a health systems expert who specializes in oncology and pain management. I have worked in a variety of settings including Infusion, Clinic, Inpatient, Outpatient, and Investigational Drug Services. 

I have seen the dark side of healthcare. The lack of access, financial struggles, and people falling through the cracks all leading to worse outcomes and increased costs to the system.

I am a tech nerd that tries to solve his problems using technology and optimizing workflows. I have seen how technology can help automate and give you back your time. I have seen how technology can touch millions, even billions of people. That is what I want to bring to healthcare.

As a Pharmacist how can I help you? I am glad you asked! 

- Almost everything in healthcare requires medicine – because of this we work with almost every department and need to learn their workflows

- We understand revenue cycles because we live it every day regardless of discipline

- Pharmacy departments usually are some of the most efficient departments because we are usually the last link in the chain. So, we have to have a very operations-oriented mind.

- Pharmacy is usually the pseudo-IT department at the hospital.

- We are extremely detail-oriented
