The other day, I was on a call with an executive coach.
A highly accomplished leadership expert with:
	•	20 years of C-suite coaching experience

What?!
She’s brilliant at her craft… but drowning in content creation…
Anyway…
We were talking about her LinkedIn content strategy.

3. They don’t invite engagement

I spent two years burning out chasing $10k ghostwriting months.
The harder I pushed, the further away it felt.
Then I stumbled onto research from a Russian quantum physicist who left his lab in 1993.

He discovered something that sounded insane but changed everything for me.

Here's what happened when I learned to slide between parallel realities:

I was desperate.

Every morning I'd wake up checking my inbox for client responses.
Nothing.

My chest would tighten. My mind would spiral.

I was drowning in my own attachment to the outcome.

The desperation was creating the exact resistance blocking me.
Then I found the concept of "lowering importance."

Instead of "I must land this client or I'm screwed," I tried something new.
"It would be nice if this happened. But it's no big deal."

The shift felt fake at first.

But something strange happened:

•My shoulders dropped
•My breathing slowed
•The pressure vanished

I wasn't lying to myself. I was releasing the stranglehold.
I started acting like it was already done.

Not fake confidence. Just a quiet knowing.
"This is handled. I just need to show up."

I stopped chasing clients and started showing up as the version of me who already had them.

The energy shifted:

•My outreach felt natural
•My writing felt clear
•Responses started coming

I wasn't forcing anymore. I was inhabiting.
Obstacles stopped controlling me.
A client ghosted me. Old me would've spiraled.

New me? I just kept moving.

Like water flowing around a rock without stopping to ask why the rock is there.

I stepped into the parallel reality where obstacles were just information, not roadblocks.

They didn't define my path
They didn't predict my future
They were just part of the flow

I kept sliding forward.

Within 30 days, everything changed.

Not because I worked harder.
Because I stopped feeding resistance with my reaction.
I landed two clients in one week.

The path cleared itself the moment I stopped forcing it.

Here's why this works:

•Lowering importance removes the balancing forces that create obstacles.
•Acting as if it's done aligns you with the reality where it is.
•Moving like water keeps you in flow instead of fighting.
