I work with teams who are experiencing burnout to help them move forward and create healthy, positive workplace culture.

I specialize in working with medical practices and organizations helping them create positive, healthy workplace culture so they can navigate the high demands of medicine and taking care of patients.  I have the unique background of understanding all aspects of medicine and feel this experience has given me insight into how to help team leads, physicians, PA's and NP's become 100% healthy in their leadership ability and multiply healthy leadership in their practices. 

I also work with various other organizations and individuals helping them achieve higher levels of leadership.  The antidote for burnout is self awareness, better relationships and continued professional development and growth.  At a team level, this looks like improved, communication, relationships and achieving goals they set out to achieve.  I develop professional development plans tailored specifically to each organization.  Topics have included Work Life Balance, Burnout and Improved Communication to name a few.  

I also work with companies doing 360 Reviews, quarterly assessments, annual reviews and planning to help them set goals at each stage.

My Story is My Why
My background has led me to the purpose I have in helping VBC organizations.  As a practicing clinician, I saw the need to be creative and help patients as my cardiology patients wanted health and prevention instead of disease management.  I became a Health Coach as a result of that need and created a program to help my patients.  I fell in love with coaching and decided to start my business as an organizational leadership consultant in 2020 with the mission to help healthcare organizations drive better patient outcomes through development of healthy high functioning leaders.

When I was nine years old, my parents took my brother and I to a community theater performance held in a small, carpeted room with no stage.  I sat on the floor in a crowd of roughly twenty children while all the adults looked on from chairs placed against the side wall.  In one of the opening acts, an actor playing a strange alien character with a most unappealing vocal tone sprayed us with silly string.  I pulled the green, sticky substance from my hair/clothes and began forming the strands into a ball to amuse myself as the cheesy plot unfolded on the carpet in front of me.  Fellow bored audience members soon took notice of my developing project and offered their own silly string collection.  Word of my activity quickly spread across the cluster of seated children and a mass silly string collection effort began.  What started as a small clump of a few strands of silly string grew to roughly the size of a baseball.  As the alien character stood front and center summarizing whatever life lesson the play sought to enrich us with, I hurled my newly pressed green mass at my momentarily in range target.  The actor was stunned out of character as my projectile hit the center of his chest before landing at his feet, and the mass of children seated on the floor in front of him laughed and cheered celebrating the success of our combined efforts.  That was my first and last community theater experience.

I am still the girl that finds creative utilization of available resources and inspires those around me to contribute insight or resources yielding more accurate and operationally feasible solutions.  My fellow audience members are now stakeholders, leadership, cross-functional departments, vendors and customers of UTD.  My motivation has grown from getting even with strange alien characters to effectively negotiating mutually beneficial working relationships to be reflected in legally binding agreements.  Over the years, I have continued to build on my natural strengths with formal education, independent research, and experience to offer a creative and uniquely human centered approach to contract development and negotiation processes.  My natural characteristics and eagerness to learn allow me to better protect the financial interest and esteem of the organization I represent.  I aim to always treat both my professional and personal life as I did my silly string ball- start building with what I have and will continue to grow by adding wisdom acquired from others I meet along the way.
