I work with teams who are experiencing burnout to help them move forward and create healthy, positive workplace culture.

I specialize in working with medical practices and organizations helping them create positive, healthy workplace culture so they can navigate the high demands of medicine and taking care of patients.  I have the unique background of understanding all aspects of medicine and feel this experience has given me insight into how to help team leads, physicians, PA's and NP's become 100% healthy in their leadership ability and multiply healthy leadership in their practices. 

I also work with various other organizations and individuals helping them achieve higher levels of leadership.  The antidote for burnout is self awareness, better relationships and continued professional development and growth.  At a team level, this looks like improved, communication, relationships and achieving goals they set out to achieve.  I develop professional development plans tailored specifically to each organization.  Topics have included Work Life Balance, Burnout and Improved Communication to name a few.  

I also work with companies doing 360 Reviews, quarterly assessments, annual reviews and planning to help them set goals at each stage.

My Story is My Why
My background has led me to the purpose I have in helping VBC organizations.  As a practicing clinician, I saw the need to be creative and help patients as my cardiology patients wanted health and prevention instead of disease management.  I became a Health Coach as a result of that need and created a program to help my patients.  I fell in love with coaching and decided to start my business as an organizational leadership consultant in 2020 with the mission to help healthcare organizations drive better patient outcomes through development of healthy high functioning leaders.

Business Operations Coordinator

I supported a team of administrators by performing administrative duties including calendaring, taking meeting minutes, managing time off requests and timekeeping responsibilities, organizing interviews, and various other tasks as asked. 

I have consolidated and organized data designed to help streamline multiple processes within the department. 

I transfered learning material from a manual process into an LMS  (Learning Management System) designed to track educational tasks more efficiently.

I transitioned a remote learning environment into a new orientation class for in person learning once a month designed to facilitate a better learning environment for new hires.

I met individually with each leader to better understand and overcome barriers they were experiencing. 

I organized and sent out a weekly newsletter to the entire department,  informing caregivers of important changes and events.

I use strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain rapport with leaders, clinicians, and coworkers.  By engaging employees and utilizing Continuous improvement processes,  I have recognized barriers employees see with processes to inspire and motivate team dynamics and collaborations.  I have witnessed an increased willingness to pick up visits and help team members when asked. 

I rely upon my experiences as a clinician to provide compassion and support while using my experience as a service coordinator to promote a better understanding and implementation of office policies and procedures. This creates a bridge between office staff and clinicians to give all parties an opportunity to be heard and understood. 

I assign home health visits to clinical staff according to organized geographical zip code lists and calendars.  By following clear and transparent processes, a sense of equity has emerged and promoted positive citizenship behaviors between employees. 

I appeal to the desire to help and sense of equity that exists in all employees.  By encouraging common goals and good intent, conflict in the workplace decreases.

I helped patients perform activities of daily living in the comfort of their own homes, helping them stay independent for as long as possible.  

I organized my day according to geographical location and patient preferences.

I managed patient complaints with kindness and patience while ensuring patient safety.

I became the main trainer for new aides.
I  learned to recognize patterns of behavior and how to use positive psychological strategies to promote desired behaviors and Applied Behavior Analysis to reduce undesired behaviors as the situation was warranted.

I increased team dynamics and collaboration between aides by building rapport and helping out when asked.

I ran programs organized by Board Certified  Behavior Analysts (BCBA) for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

I collected data for BCBA to create and implement new programs when these individuals met goals of current plans.

I built rapport with clients and learned how to motivate them to reach their goals.

I monitored and reported concerns of the individuals I worked with and gave necessary feedback to BCBA.

I brainstormed ways to help motivate clients from fellow RTB's and BCBA's.
