I have 20 years experience in sales and marketing in the healthcare space. I studied as a lawyer before changing course into sales. I have a proven track record in developing, launching and running innovative healthcare businesses. 

Outside of work I focus my energy on my wonderful family, my own health and fitness and the odd round of golf.

GTS Solutions CIC is the only Social Enterprise operating in the Scottish private security industry, offering services to corporate and not-for-profit organisations of all sizes throughout the UK. 

GTS are committed to assisting the long term unemployed return to work and start a career in the security industry. GTS provide all the necessary training to its staff and are committed to the living wage.

GTS are the national Security partner for The Prince's Trust 'Get into Security' programme where they provide training to young people struggling to make a start in employment and assist them in building a career in the private security industry.

As a Non Executive Director I assist the founder with corporate governance and long term strategy to grow the business.

Arbikie Distillery

My role involves a number of responsibilities, reporting directly to the owners of Arbikie Highland Estate.

Sales – Responsible for growing online sales via a joined up social media and communications strategy. Developing new and maintaining key relationships with on and off trade partners. Member of senior management team responsible for UK sales strategy ensuring key targets are achieved in new and existing markets. Managing distributor relationship to ensure maximum exposure for the Arbikie brand.

Digital Marketing & Communications – Responsible for developing Arbikie’s digital media and communications strategy across all product offerings achieving over 1000% growth across Arbikie social media platforms. Managing graphic designer to ensure consistent brand messaging.  Drafting copy for all media releases and ensuring key brand messages are communicated in both consumer and business press.

Event Management – Responsible for planning and managing Arbikie’s attendance at UK events ensuring key performance indicators are met. Developing events strategy to ensure maximum exposure of the Arbikie brand with consumers and trade. Manage a team of brand ambassadors and event staff.

Brand Management & Marketing – Part of senior management team responsible for developing and implementing the Arbikie brand and marketing initiatives. Responsible for developing partnerships and joint ventures to assist in raising the profile of Arbikie.

NPD & Product Launch – Part of senior management team responsible for new product development strategy. Key role surrounding communications and brand strategy relating to the launch of a new product.

Commercial Manager

Arbikie Distillery is unique. It is the first single-estate distillery in Scotland to produce both white and brown spirits using traditional Scotch distilling methods and equipment. Arbikie grows, distils, matures and bottles all on one site.

I assisted Arbikie on a consultancy basis with the launch of their new Gin. I was primarily tasked with developing the strategy around the launch, with a particular focus on social media, strategic partnerships with bars, restaurants and hotels, marketing, PR events and brand development.

Responsible for social media platform growth of over 1000%, month on month growth of online sales and increased media coverage of Arbikie products across all channels.

Redesigning the CDR website and re-organising the company structure to streamline the business and interaction between the different client offerings.

On the B2B side, Phlo Connect enables third-party healthcare providers to integrate our platform via APIs—offering their patients a fully digital, end-to-end healthcare experience.

In addition, we’ve launched Phlo Clinic, a digital healthcare service that connects patients directly with clinical care. Phlo Clinic offers remote consultations and treatments for various health conditions, completing the circle between consultation, prescription, and delivery. It further reinforces our mission to provide convenient, connected, and patient-first healthcare solutions.

Since Phlo’s inception, I’ve played a leading role in transforming our vision into a fast-growing, revenue-generating healthtech business. From the ground up, I've been part of the Phlo team, building/establishing operations, developing commercial strategies, raising investment and partnerships. This has involved securing major b2b clients, expanding our footprint across the UK, scaling the team and continuously innovating to stay ahead of industry, regulatory and consumer demands.

My professional passion lies in building and scaling innovative businesses both domestically and internationally.
