Good business coaches are there to help you see the blind spots and serve as your compass to make sure you are heading in the right direction. A business coach serves as an important objective third party to regularly check in to make sure that you are on the most direct path to your ideal destination. Oftentimes, the biggest hurdle to success is that you don't know what you don't know. You can't Google your way out of a problem that you aren't sure how to articulate—or worse, how to anticipate.

One pro for hiring a business coach for yourself is that it allows you to get constructive criticism from someone that doesn’t necessarily know you. 

A business coach is more like a person you're accountable to. No matter what level of success you have attained, there is a tendency to stay in your own lane and not observe habits and patterns that have been successful for others. A strong business coach can help increase awareness of methods and keys to success that have worked for other people and may be analogous to your own situation.

As the Founder of ChatBot UX, I combine my knowledge in conversation design, UX design, and digital marketing with the strategic vision required to run a self-employed startup. My responsibilities cover every aspect of the business, from developing chatbot solutions to managing client relations, overseeing operations, and driving growth.

The company specialises in creating tailored chatbot systems for salons, spas, and beauty businesses. Using the Manychat platform, I design conversational flows that help businesses streamline appointment bookings, manage customer inquiries, and promote services efficiently. These chatbots allow for real-time customer engagement across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, eMail and SMS improving both customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness.

In addition to managing the business, I’m also responsible for building awareness and promoting ChatBot UX through digital and social media marketing. From content creation to managing campaigns across platforms, I handle all marketing efforts to ensure that my brand is visible and resonates with beauty professionals. My experience in digital marketing enables me to strategically position ChatBot UX in front of the right audience, driving leads and growing the business.

Running a startup independently has given me a well-rounded skill set that extends from project management to digital marketing and client communication. I ensure that the chatbot solutions I create not only meet the needs of my clients but also deliver measurable business value. My goal is to help beauty professionals streamline their operations and improve client engagement while focusing on growing their business.

Worked as a Bulk Cargo Surveyor, which involved gauging onshore tanks in refineries and bulk storage tanks of ships prior to and after transfer of products such as crude oil, diesel, kerosene, methanol, ammonia and other petrochemicals. I also had to witness the sampling and oversee the QC test of the product on behalf of the client.

Before founding ChatBot UX, I worked as a drilling fluids specialist in the oil and gas industry for almost three decades. This role provided me with invaluable experience in problem-solving, project management, and operational efficiency—skills that have proven beneficial throughout my career. During this time, I had the opportunity to collaborate with some of the largest companies in the energy sector, including BP, Shell, and ExxonMobil, among others.

I’ve also had the chance to explore my creative side, spending time as a web designer and travel photographer. My photography work has been licensed by notable organizations such as Microsoft, National Geographic Partners, and Lonely Planet. Although I no longer actively pursue these fields, they have contributed to my broad skill set and understanding of digital storytelling.
