In December 2023, I volunteered to take on a "pro bono" function as Chief of Staff to help Web3 Doers founder Chris Koronowski structure and grow the community further in 2024 and beyond.

* Help define team goals

* Prepare and present both standard as well as custom demonstrations of Bazaarvoice products and solutions to prospective clients.

* Support Sales Director in preparing the business case for a prospect and validate the business proposal.

I'm originally from Germany, but have lived, studied and worked in Spain, the US, the UK and France over the past two decades. This leaves me fluent in German, English and French as well as with a high cultural awareness.

Over the past 12 years, I have specialised in both technical and very sales-oriented, cross-functional roles in the SaaS industry. My core strength is to be able to understand both the technical and the business aspects of a solution and to translate needs and requirements between various teams such as sales, marketing, development, legal or product in order to find the best solution. 

In addition to my experience in SaaS, I have also been educating myself about blockchain, web3 and AI since 2017. In 2021, I started www.howtobegincrypto.com and Aequitas Consulting as a side business to help educate people and businesses on the profound opportunities web3 has to offer today and in the years ahead. I do so using courses and 1-1 coaching, and by teaching a web3 section of a Masters Degree on Financial Education at the University of Lille, France.

My passion for web3 came in particularly handy in my most recent role with Alkimi Exchange, where I helped the team build out a blockchain-based advertising exchange solution and bring it into an existing industry that is worth hundreds of billions of dollars per year.

Last but not least, I strongly believe that learning and teaching is a never-ending journey and live by this mantra in my (volunteer) role as Chief of Staff at Web3 Doers, a community of technology enthusiasts that aim to stay at the forefront of technology.

Peter Thiel shares this incredible piece of tech history, describing a pre-Bitcoin system for "anonymous encrypted electronic gold certificates."

 He paints a vivid picture of the frictionless nature of digital assets. 

For a seasoned real estate mogul, the contrast is stark. 

He details the immense operational burden and illiquidity of physical assets, which can take over a year to sell.

This is why he is betting on American Bitcoin. 

He sees mining as a way to produce a globally liquid, easily transferable asset that requires no daily management, calling it "an unbelievably pure store of value."

His logic is powerfully simple: "If I can mine an asset for literally a third the cost that it is trading right now... we are onto something really good."

This is not speculative hype, it is an industrial efficiency play.

He captures their determination perfectly: "It had to get done one way or the other."

This is the spirit of building your own table instead of waiting for a seat at someone else's.

We have watched tech disrupt everything from taxis to hotels. 

Now, are we about to watch it disrupt the most powerful system of all, political and financial allegiance, by turning them into competing, user-chosen platforms?

With this blunt assessment, Donald Trump Jr. identifies the core resistance to change in traditional finance. 

He argues that systems built on friction and complexity are inherently threatened by technologies that offer simplicity and speed.

His view from the front lines is that we have reached the critical juncture. 

The "reluctant adapters" are now adapting out of necessity, with the floodgates poised to open.

He states confidently: "I think we are at the point where those floodgates are gonna open."

This is more than a trend,  it is a fundamental re-architecting of value transfer.

We have already seen how the internet demolished the business models of gatekeepers in media and retail. 

Are we now witnessing the digital sledgehammer being taken to the most fortified gatekeepers of all, the intermediaries of money itself?

His message is clear: the world is building the on-ramps to the digital economy, and the U.S. is still painting the lane dividers. 

The 🇪🇺EU's MiCA framework provides a single rulebook for 27 countries. 

That’s a powerful signal to builders: "We are open for business."  

Meanwhile, the U.S. sends mixed messages 🤷‍♂️

Eagan notes the report frames digital assets as essential for "U.S. economic competitiveness and global leadership."

That is the ambitious roadmap Stani Kulechov outlines for Aave and the future of DeFi. 

The plan is to move beyond crypto assets and use DeFi's infrastructure to unlock liquidity for the vast world of traditional finance.

The first step is using stable assets like BlackRock's BUIDL money market fund as collateral.
