• Coordinate preparation of annual audit and annual review of financial statements by outside CPA firm. Includes preparation and review of audit documentation and draft financial statements. 
• Coordinate preparation of annual tax return
• Coordinate and review audit and accounting reports for investors and lenders, during construction/development of projects
• Coordinate and review tax returns during construction/development of projects
• Coordinate and review tax returns for various related development entities

•	Review real estate entity trial balances prepared by 3rd party management agent, and prepare adjusting journal entries to be posted to the general ledger
•	Reconcile property books to ownership general ledger
•	Coordinate with property development team to ensure that all development costs are properly recorded
•	Prepare/review entries to record complex accounting transactions such as refinances and property purchases

Assistant Controller

•	Responsible for the planning, execution, review and completion of financial statement audits and ensuring proper staffing, budgeting and tracking occurs throughout the process to management
•	Consulted directly with clients on audit and accounting issues, as well as other critical business matters
•	Reviewed work papers, documents and cleared the adjusting journal entries to complete the final financial statements, draft the management letter, opinion, cash flow and complex footnotes to disclose per regulations and authorities for Federal (HUD) , state agency and investor (LIHTC and HTC) requirements
•	Train staff and supervise them on source documents they reviewing, requirements for the general ledger and obtain copies of new lending agreements for perm records file

•	Propose adjusting journal entries, review fixed assets and look for items to be capitalized in the financial statements
•	Tie revenues, payroll, prepaids, deposits to documents 
•	Prepare analysis by comparing general ledger to budget as well as other options to source material errors
•	Import general ledger into our software and draft the financial statements that includes footnotes and cashflow
•	Monitored engagement progress against client deadlines and time budgets

•	Responsible for the preparation of a mix of financial statement audits, reviews and compilations 
•	Drafted financial statements, review unadjusted balance sheets, income statements, import general ledger into our software, provide adjusting journal entries and tie to supporting reconciliations
