Networking-based fundraising in general is a lie.

That might be true if you’re Sam Altman.

But for early/mid-market funds and startups, networking is mostly a tax on your time.

Late-stage companies can announce a raise and have investors line up.

- I like data. I built an ads dashboard for Sugatan.io's internal ad-buying team. Then I built a client-facing one for reporting. And another to share ad insights with our creative team. There's a good chance that one of my dozen chrome tabs has a dashboard on it right now. You get the point.
