Aber wir werden uns auch mit dem Thema Web3 im Kontext von Kommunikation auseinandersetzen und auch darüber hinaus einen Blick auf die Kommunikation unserer KI-Zukunft werfen.

From 2007 till 2012 I was on the Oklahoma State University Golf Team. At that time, the golf team was ranked as the best college golf team in the US twice, while being in the Top 3 every single year. I played several events alongside my team mates of which many have become very successful professional golfers after their college career. Rickie Fowler, Peter Uihlein, Morgan Hoffman, Kevin Tway, Sean Einhaus and Taylor Gooch are some of them who play professionally on the highest level (PGA Tour, European Tour).

After having been in the Bavarian state team for 5 years, I was called into the German national team at the end of the 2003 golf season. 

During my time on the team, I played several team championships including the European Team Championship. Also, I represented my country in well over 20 international individual events.
My biggest individual achievement during that time came in 2005, when I became the first German to win the prestigious The Boys Amateur Championship.

📔🥂 A book reception is the visible part. The real work happens long before the speeches, the photos, and the champagne. 🍾📚

Last weekend, Gitte Boesen held the reception for her new book 🚀 — and it reminded me of something most people underestimate:
A good book isn’t written by “having a lot to say”.

It’s written by making a lot of decisions:
- What to include.
- What to cut.
- What to repeat until it’s sharp.
- What to leave as a footnote.
- Where the argument needs backbone.
- Where the reader needs oxygen, etc.

This is the second book that Gitte and I have published together. 

And it's been quite a journey:
- First book launched January 7, 2025
- Immediately hit number 1️⃣🏆 on the national bestseller list
- The country's largest publishers competed for a book deal with her
- Contract signed in May
- 2nd edition with a new chapter published in August (still the first book)
- meanwhile, we wrote the 2nd book
- which launched just after New Year, almost precisely 1 year after the first

Boom! 💥

While I have now published more than 50 nonfiction books, it is the author's actions that carry the project. 

The standards you hold yourself to in the messy middle make the difference:
🧠 When it would be easier to ship “good enough”
🧠 When the structure feels done, but the message isn’t
🧠 When the first draft is fine… but you know fine doesn’t build authority
🧠 When you are in Spain to write, but the beach is calling 😆

The reception is a celebration.
But it’s also a quiet proof of something simple:
