I am an industry analyst, researcher, educator, and technology analyst covering all aspects of corporate HR, training, talent management, recruiting, leadership, and workplace technology.

I was the founder of Bersin & Associates, which then became Bersin by Deloitte. Since leaving Deloitte in 2018 I now lead The Josh Bersin Company and The Josh Bersin Academy, the world's professional development destination for HR.

I am a keynote speaker and advise HR teams and vendors in the HR space, and also serve as an educator, thought leader, and personal coach to HR and business leaders around the world.  

My professional goal is to make work life better around the world by helping HR professionals and teams learn, stay informed, and develop deep expertise on world-leading practices that help their companies.

I spend my time studying the world of work, HR, and all aspects of workplace technology. I advise vendors and large corporations on their products, HR and leadership strategies, and workplace technology solutions. And I am the Dean of the Josh Bersin Academy.

★ Played a key leadership role as the primary HR executive at a managed care health plan, with oversight of creating HR data dashboards, organizational development and restructuring, HR digital transformation, performance management, employee engagement, succession planning.

★ Provided strategic direction and leadership to the executive team, Board of Directors, and internal teams on all enterprise HR strategies, programs, policies, and processes while ensuring the alignment of strategic HR initiatives with the organization's overall three-year strategic plan.

★ Planned and executed an HR digital transformation initiative involving the implementation of Dayforce HCM platform to replace the legacy HR system. Provided Project Management and oversight to the implementation including RFP, selection, configuration, migration, and go-live. Maintained administration of Dayforce as well as each module implementation. Partnered with Cerdian as a Beta client for the Engagement Module and Charter client for Career Explorer and Performance Modules. 

★ Developed a comprehensive strategic plan to restructure and transform the HR organization, including providing change management leadership for the implementation of multiple new enterprise-wide HR programs, systems, and processes.

★ Created an organizational strategy that drove improvements in employee engagement and retention, with employee engagement of 84.6% in 2022 (against a 32% national average). 

★ Redesigned and streamlined the company’s performance management framework from an outdated annual review system to a goals-driven, focused process that facilitated effective year-round monitoring of employee performance.
