I help clients plan for life’s uncertainties with Lasting Power of Attorneys and the certainty, with a Will. 

I advise and work with individuals and business owners to manage their affairs tax efficiently to help them to realise their ADHD (Aspiration-Dream-Hope-Desires)

I work with personal tax clients to help them manage their estate beginning with their personal income statement and personal balance sheet.

I help and work with medical professionals (dentists and GPs) plus a growing portfolio of property clients, landlords with B2L portfolios or HMOs or SPV owners to manage their business tax efficiently.

I am a regular contributor and participant at local property events and the forum.

I help clients retain a greater share of their financial pie.

I chair the Nominations and Governance Board; a member of the Audit Board; and support the presidential team and other members of AAT council.

As a member of the AAT Council I contributed to the strategic development of the AAT and its position within the profession.

• overseeing the strategic development and future direction of the AAT working with the CEO and the senior management team;
• representing the AAT at international and national events such as International Federation of Accounting (IFAC), Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants (CAPA), awards ceremonies and consultations with government bodies such as HMRC;
• chairing the Board of Trustees (Council) and I am an ex-officio member of other advisory Boards; 
• working with the trustees, and in particular, the Vice President /Chair of Management Board to ensure our activities and budgets are closely aligned, to meet our charitable purpose and our charitable resources are effectively managed; and
• writing articles for the AAT journal, being interviewed for articles and providing comments and responses to the business on matters pertaining to accounting and the small business sector.
• launching an interactive webinar series of Lunch/Tea with the President to provide wider engagement with members across the different sectors of our membership.

• to support the President as an ambassador of world's leading professional body of accounting technicians with our global membership exceeding 130,000 members.

I am a specialist probate and estate planning accountant helping families preserve, grow and transfer the fruits of their life to their loved ones tax efficiently. 

I provide family solicitors with that independent voice of reason as an Expert Court Witness for divorcing clients battling over the CGT on their non matrimonial residential  properties. 

I provide the strategic vision for Marcus Bishop Associates team of accountants and business professionals  for our delivery of accountancy, taxation and business support services to our ever growing portfolio of personal and business clients.

I have been a financial columnist for over a decade for SE21 and SE22 published by SE Magazines, http://semagazines.co.uk. In addition, I have authored four accounting text books and co-authored a further two books. 

I am a public speaker on estate planning for individuals, families and businesses; and a range of business and financial subjects. I demystify and communicate technical subjects effectively to audiences. I developed these skills from two decades as a university academic lecturing on professional, postgraduate and undergraduate courses in the UK, Africa, the Caribbean and the EU. 

I serve as an NED for several Non Profit Distributing Organisations; and represent my professional body on the International Federation of Accountants, based in New York. 

As a prostate cancer survivor I am also prostate cancer advocate for Prostate Cancer UK and The Errol McKellar Foundation to raise the awareness and education of prostate cancer to all via open access talks to organisations and chairing regular discussions and forums.
