The founder who couldn't leave.

Why Is A Post Save So Important?

Don't just take my word for it.

I've read where LinkedIn says 𝗮 "𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲" 𝗶𝘀 𝟱 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 (𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲) 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗮 "𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲."

Why is that?

When someone saves your post, it shows the LinkedIn AI your content has value, it's worth coming back to, and that value is more than immediate; plus, it's relevant.

This ties into "logical coherence," such that this type of high-quality content will be pushed to the right audience over time, emphasizing "relevance over recency".

This shows value over the immediate effect we were used to before LinkedIn's AI kicked in.

Ask yourself this question: 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆'𝗹𝗹 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿?

Easy to do?

I don't believe so. It takes deeper thinking, which takes, at least for me, longer.  As a suggestion, you might reach out to colleagues you trust and ask them what value you could provide that would induce them to save your post.

It's forcing me to slow down, to post less frequently, but to ensure every post I write is well-written, structured, and provides genuine insight and value.
