HeyReach just got banned by LinkedIn ❌ 
We've run 200+ campaigns with them. Here's my opinion 👇

Of all the LinkedIn tools out there, HeyReach was one of the most careful.

They respected rate limits.
They built for safety.
They did everything right
... and they still got banned.

Which means no one is safe.
Because this isn't about compliance.
 
LinkedIn is playing a different game entirely.
Every tool that monetizes their data better than they do is a target.

Automation tools first.
Then enrichment.
Then analytics.
 
LinkedIn is closing the loop, slowly, then all at once.
Worth noting, existing campaigns are still running, users are not affected.
 
The right question to ask isn't "which tool do I switch to?"
It's:

They're not.

Clay is separating what the platform does from what the data costs.

For GTM teams, that clarity matters, and it sets them up to charge properly for the orchestration features coming next.
 
Across the 70+ clients we run GTM for,

Clay also publicly said this will cost them 10% in revenue short term.

I just got rejected in the DMs. And honestly, my first instinct was to just move on. But I didn't. I took a minute to say thank you. Here's why I think that's worth doing ↓

1. It's basic decency

Someone took the time to read your message and write back. Even if the answer was no.

That deserves a quick "Hey, thanks for letting me know."


2. It keeps the door open

People change their minds. Situations change. Budgets open up. That person who said no today might circle back in 6 months.

But they won't if you left them on read or got salty about it.


3. It costs almost nothing

You might think "Nah, not worth it.

They said no, I'll just move on." And sure, moving on is fine. But responding literally takes 30 seconds.


Rejection stings. Always does.

But a quick thank you costs nothing and keeps the conversation in a good place.

And it's one of those small habits most people overlook.

In the end, LinkedIn outreach is all about building and taking care of those relationships.
