I love business, entrepreneurship, and animals. I re-started my in-home pet care company in the US (originally operated for 5 years in Canada) because it's such a fulfilling way for me to enjoy those passions. 

I move into clients' homes for days (to weeks!) at a time to care for their pets while the owners are away. It's the best way to keep your pets happy and their routines stable while you're away.

- Researched, scoped, and developed requirements to bring the ability to file and publish 1099 and W-2 documents in-house for over 100,000 workers, resulting in over $400,000 savings and 30% time savings for the tax and customer success teams due to process optimization and training 
- Led a team of 3 software engineers to transition all new users from web to the mobile app by building a mobile onboarding process, using data-driven insights to find, prioritize, and resolve bugs, and managed the targeted roll-out and communication of this new feature to customers and beta testing groups
- Contributed to roadmap development by collaborating cross-functionally and conducting 50+ internal and external user interviews, documenting conversations and insights, and writing PRDs and other documentation to support internal training and product launches 
- Managed 9 distinct product launches from start to finish using agile methodologies while translating complex requirements into clear user stories and actionable engineering tickets and maintaining a clean backlog

I helped the co-founders of Lightward launch their podcast Empowered Human Academy (www.empoweredhumanacademy.com). 

I managed all of the moving parts (audio, video, artwork and graphics, social media posts, etc.) via a variety of vendors to ensure on-time production and smooth releases of weekly episodes. Once I organized and built out the process, I enjoyed optimizing it to ensure early and stress-free delivery of each episode.

It was a short, but extremely enjoyable, stint because I had to resign in order to re-locate to the US.

I started this company in my first year of university. It combined two passions: business and animals.

For 5 years, while completing my undergraduate degree in business, I put classroom knowledge to the test. I discovered a market need for an in-home pet care solution and built my first business. 

I developed high-trust relationships with 300+ clients and ensured their total satisfaction by soliciting feedback and through open communication channels. I also grew to hire and train 8 staff members to handle more happy clients. 

I generated and managed over $150,000 in revenue while managing all operations, processes, marketing, legal needs, product offerings, finances, hiring and training, website design, and sales.

I was hired as a co-op associate as a Strategic Human Resources Executive Officer at the Ministry of Transportation in the Corporate Services Division.  (Ontario Public Service) 

Some projects I worked on: 
- Developed a database to track Joint Health & Safety Committees and Representatives across 130+ MTO locations in Ontario 
- Planned and executed a mental health awareness campaign 
- Researched and compiled information for an eBook to commemorate 100 years of historical facts within the ministry
