This is what you and I will do.

1. You and I will have an interview. I will ask questions over the call. You will answer them immediately over the same call. I will listen quietly and take notes.
2. We pre-select and approve an initial list to reach out to.
3. We pre-approve a message for sending.
4. You share the login details of your LinkedIn profile with me after turning off 2-factor authentication.
5. Once agreed on the message and the targeting strategy, I manually start hitting targets with that message with your LinkedIn profile, reaching out to them as you.
6. We talk every week to see what is working and change what is not working.
7. We iterate consistently until we have a 10%+ meeting rate on messages sent and are always having quality meetings likely to turn into revenue or funding.
8. Speed of iteration is key for both of us to succeed

The price for this is €2,000 (euros) a month. Paid at the start of the month before work starts.

Scandinavians make the worst websites on the planet.

Every Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, and Finnish website is 100% vibes. But 0% substance on what they actually do.

Why are they like this?

I get the message they want to send.

"We are calm and serious. We have quiet confidence in our work."

That is awesome. One tiny problem.

What is that work you do exactly? Can you explain? Because the rest of us are completely lost.

What an absolutely awful Saturday I have had today. I reviewed 164 Nordic prospects for my Nordic client. Only 15 of them were a fit.

I went through 140+ websites like this today and I feel like crying now. Scandinavia...please....

Why, Scandinavia? Why? Tell me why! TELL ME WHY?!

My neighbour claims to be part Italian and German.

He is the darkest looking Kannada boy you can find living in this part of north Goa in Morjim. If I am black, he is midnight.

He told me this while I was jogging on the beach last evening. I stopped, spent some time with him, caught up with how he is doing.

He loves to flaunt his wealth (which doesn't exist but whatever) and now he is flaunting his claimed exotic origins. I took my leave quickly after.

Another neighbour claims to be Tibetan. She is from Uttarakhand and has never left India. She speaks in a Russian and Israeli accent. Looks super Indian.

I do have Tibeto-Burman origins from my maternal grandmother. I showed my neighbour a photo. Her grandmother looks nothing like mine.

Anyways...

There is also a bodybuilder who owns a cafe nearby. Claims to be Afghan, Kashmiri Pandit, and Italian. (From Bombay and looks super Marathi.)

Outsiders in small tourist villages will say anything to look cool. Nobody can double check it anyway. Fake accents and fancy stories win attention.

Pretending is easier for them because people come and go here. But I stay.

It is the same here with LinkedIn.

People say anything here. 90% of LinkedIn users drop in and out. Only 10% are paying attention to the funny changing stories people tell.

I wish my beautiful neighbours much love, happiness, and success. (And eventually self-acceptance...)

My branding is ultra-straightforward.

I am AGAINST testimonials and social proof on my website.

Testimonials and social proof are often a distraction from the main thing. Which is the job to be done. And I feel that is what buyers care about.

I am also AGAINST Calendly, inbound schedulers, and contact forms.

Inbound schedulers imply that time is of no value. My main day job is to deliver for clients. I can't spend all day in discovery calls. Work must be done.

I am also AGAINST any FOMO or urgency language.

FOMO only works on struggling troubled folks. There is little I can do to help them. My only viable market is calm entrepreneurs with a cool head.

I am only FOR one thing and one thing ONLY.

A simple and emotionally neutral explanation of what I do for others.

The only approach that has worked for me.

Two types of startup scene people:

Type A works this way.

Type A thinks most people will never know how awesome you are unless other people say you are awesome.

All the chances to do awesome things comes from other people knowing you are awesome.

So the first test is other awesome people working with you in person and vouching for your skill.

Then there is type B.

They think being good at something does not depend on whom you know, and that most awesome people never get noticed despite how awesome they are.

They believe connections is a sign of nepotism.

Both A and B are annoying.

A wants to know, “Where is your connections?”

B wants to know, “Where is your work?”

And no evidence is enough for either.

Just keep delivering. Keep talking about your work in public. Get better at what you do. And remain a good person.

And both will eventually endorse you. I guarantee it.

I removed all testimonials from my website.

My old website had tons of entrepreneurs endorsing my abilities.

I recently decided, "All of these need to go". Here is why I chose to do so.

I have worked with brilliant entrepreneurs. I find joy in working with brilliant entrepreneurs. Such humans make me very happy.

Brilliant entrepreneurs know what good work is.

They never needed noise or bragging to trust someone. They see a person and they know what work they are doing.

And that test is very simple. Can you explain what it is that work you do?

Be a simple and sure person. Explain what you do calmly and clearly. And these brilliant entrepreneurs know they are safe around you.

Explain how you work. Why you do each step. What happens next. Then these people will trust you more.

They can see your thinking. And they don't need anyone else's opinions to decide.

Let them know you are in control. That they will get what they want.

That is the sale.
