I joined the NSBA Leadership Council as part of my efforts to tackle the many critical issues facing small business, including tax reform, regulatory restraint, health care costs and how access to capital will impact small business. The NSBA Leadership Council is focused on providing valuable networking between small-business advocates from across the country while ensuring small business a seat at the table as Congress and regulators take up key small-business proposals.

Project Transition USA

As a Veteran, I understand making that transition can be difficult. As part of this group, I provide training and assist transitioning military personnel on their journey to find civilian jobs. My goal is to help a fellow Veteran make the right connection which to me can make all the difference in the world.

Project Transition USA is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping transitioning military veterans & their families find meaningful and rewarding civilian careers. All members of our LinkedIN group work together to utilize the powerful networking & job search technology of LinkedIN in support of this goal.

In addition to managing this group, Project Transition USA was the first to conduct a LinkedIN Job Search Workshop on a U.S. military base (MacDill Air Force Base, Home of U.S. Central Command -- Nov. 16, 2012). They have been conducting free monthly workshops on MacDill ever since, and plan to expand these trainings to every military base in the country.

Tel Ganesan is the Managing Director of Kyyba Innovations and Founder/Executive Producer of Kyyba Films. Tel is also the Chairman of the Board of Kyyba. 

Tel is on the Advisory Committee for the National Veteran Business Development Council, Board of Directors for Global Detroit and also a member and Board of Advisors of Ann Arbor-SPARK, Global Talent Retention Initiative of Southeast Michigan (GTRI) and Astia. He is also a Board Member of James and Patricia Anderson Engineering Ventures Institute, Wayne State University. 

Tel is currently the President of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) Detroit chapter for the third term and previously the president of the chapter for two consecutive years (2009-2010). He served as the Chairman of TiECon and lead the development of TiE’s flagship conference on Entrepreneurship in Detroit during turbulent times. Tel is the Founder & President of the Kyyba Kidz Foundation to assist orphaned children and underprivileged individuals by providing job training for job placement resulting in gainful long term career. He served as the past VP of American Society of Engineers of Indian Origin (ASEI).
