I didn’t take the traditional route into the car business. Hell, most people don’t. I dropped out of university to sell cars—not because it was my dream, but because I needed to survive. 

Along the way, I figured out something that changed everything:

The only thing that ever changes is the size of the deal.

Whether I was selling Jeeps on the lot, closing the first-ever Enterprise Canada fleet deal, or building a business that helped hundreds of dealers move cars across borders, the fundamentals stayed the same.

I built my career on finding the angles others miss. I found ways to make markets where others saw none. I learned that the best deals don’t happen in auction lanes—they happen in conversations.

Always a disrupter, Peter has over 40 years experience in the Retail Sales Arena from his early days as an entrepreneurial start with a car detailing business at the age of fourteen he has cemented a career in the industry. 
 
As a sales professional, he honed his skills in the automotive industry over the past thirty years working with luxury brands such as BMW, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, and Volvo where he developed a deep understanding of the unique needs of high-end clientele. Combining with experience from Chrysler and Toyota recognizing the volume sales environments.

As a Senior Sales Strategist, he faced many challenges specific to the automotive industry including successfully navigating the post-COVID shutdown period by rebuilding sales teams and implementing new sales strategies to adapt to the changing market. Peter also transformed a stagnant sales operation to become a top producer for a manufacturer, exponentially increasing sales numbers and achieving personal target goals.

A key aspects of his focus has been data analysis. By performing in-depth analyses of sales data, he has been able to identify patterns and trends that have allowed for more effective marketing spend and lead generation. This has been critical in the competitive automotive industry, where every dollar spent on advertising and marketing must deliver a return on investment.

As a networking specialist, throughout his career Peter has built a vast network of over 40,000 connections and followers on social media. Strategically leveraging this network to generate leads, foster relationships with customers, and keep up to date on the latest trends and developments in the industry.

Recognizing the needs of the community, Peter has leveraged his success in the Automotive Industry to assist several local and national charities raise funds for children and animal causes including KidsFest, Cause For Paws, Tim Hortons Foundation, and the SmileZone Foundation to which he is a founding committee member. 

Peter is a regular fixture on the AutoHubShow, appeared as a special guest on the DawgPound with Jim Zeigler, the MatadorAi BusCast and dozens of other podcasts. Additionally, Peter has been published in Family Lawyer Magazine and Canadian Auto Dealer. 

Peter's deep passion for the business is displayed in his love for all things automotive from retailing to racing. In his downtime, he and his wife Gina enjoy cooking, wine tasting and travelling but most of all their Golden Retriever, Chester.
