Analyzed performance using Saas tools from telephony vendors and internal reporting tools to develop and implement collection strategy. Developed and maintained favorable business relationships with new and existing automobile dealerships. Educated owners and finance managers on Veros Credit products. Signed up new stores continually. Solicited qualified applications for the programs available. Called and captured loans by providing flexible terms and deal structures that met Veros Credit's risk model. Analyzed sub-prime auto credit applications for stability, ability and willingness of applicants to make on-time installment payments. Evaluated loan to value ratios, payment to income ratios, debt ratios and the degree of the applicant’s credit worthiness. Approved or denied auto loan applications submitted from new and used automobile dealerships. Negotiated the deal structure and terms with F&I managers, according to the level of risk involved and programs offered. Developed and strengthened relationships with franchise and independent auto dealers in the Central Florida market while purchasing contracts in the field.

Managed the company’s largest regional call center servicing over 40,000 auto loans valued at $434,766,000.00. Responsible for 36% of the company’s performing portfolio. Analysed performance using Saas tools from telephony vendors and internal reporting tools to develop and implement collection strategy. Created the company’s online reputation management campaign. Collaborated with the other vice presidents to create and expand the quality assurance program. Directed the creation of the company’s complaint resolution website. Coordinated the relocation of the office and build out of the new 20,000 square foot location at the Maitland Forum. Trained Managers on department operations, federal and state compliance. Met call center financial objectives by estimating requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions. Led a staff of 96 employees. Reported to the Senior Vice President of Servicing.

Vice President of Servicing

Determined call center operational strategies by conducting needs assessments, capacity planning, and cost benefit analyses. Maintained and improved call center operations by monitoring system performance. Managed system and process improvements and quality assurance programs. Accomplished call center human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, training, assigning, coaching and counseling a staff of 58 employees in total, with 6 direct reports. Trained the staff on multiple software and phone system upgrades. Responsible for 6 teams servicing accounts from the potential stage of delinquency to 120 days delinquent and one asset recovery team servicing the charged-off portfolio. Reported to the Vice President of Collections.

Call Center Manager

Mercury Finance Company

Managed successively larger branch locations in Tulsa OK, Oklahoma City OK, Corpus Christi TX, and Seminole FL as MFC transitioned from 300 branch locations to regional call centers. Approved auto, consumer and retail installment loans. Marketed financial services directly to the principles of franchise auto dealerships and auto groups. Educated F&I managers on our lending programs and ancillary products. Developed strategies for achieving sales goals. Reviewed turned down deals with dealership finance managers. Analyzed dealer data to determine areas for growth and to reduce risk to poor performing loans. Created a collection strategy using internal reporting that reduced losses and repossessions. Trained the employees in loan origination and collection fundamentals. Responsible for full P&L. Maintained business records and budgeted office expenses. Directed all operations at the branch and reported to the Regional Director. MFC was acquired by CPS in 2002.

Developed and implemented marketing strategies for a Teflon oil additive called TX7. Expedited communication between the manufacturer and retail outlets. Purchased and maintained effective inventory control. Increased retail accounts from 0 to 65.
