It is well known that the best team wins, and my aim in life is to be on the best team. 

Throughout my career, I have built a strong reputation as a finance leader overseeing the planning, implementation, management, and operation of all finance activities for franchises with numerous locations across the nation. I work hard to provide strategic leadership and direction to my teams. It is when you look across the room and trust everyone sitting at the table, that you know you are in the right place. By building top-class finance and accounting teams, I have been able to deliver significant results and provide the groundwork for the greater financial strength of an organization.

I read an article on LinkedIn this morning that argued AI in 2026 will be less about the models and more about how they show up inside real workflows. 

Our team is not doing anything fully end to end yet. But we have injected large language models into a few very specific points inside existing automations using Power Automate, and that is where I have seen the most value. Two uses have stood out so far. First, summarizing and generating insights for standardized reporting before the workflow continues downstream. Second, normalizing and mapping data that used to take hours of manual work each month before it could even be analyzed.

None of these use cases came from out of the box solutions. They came from having solid, intellectually curious people who understand the business, understand the software available to them, and know exactly where things slow down. That has been the most common and practical way we are using LLMs day to day.

A thought I am still working through...

AI is on nearly every leadership agenda right now. I keep seeing executives ask teams how they are using it, then compile lists of AI projects as a proxy for progress. In practice, this often happens before enterprise tools are widely available or before there is much clarity on where those tools should actually be applied.

I am noticing that when leadership is closer to the work, momentum feels different. Still observing how that plays out, but hearing positive feedback regularly from our team at the moment.
