Five years ago this would have terrified me and I'm feeling so much love for this process. The whole journey. The nervousness. This highs. The lows. I've learned to love it all.

I’ve been thinking about what actually makes an event stick and it’s always in the details.

For Mutiny's Pipeline Paradise tiki event in Vegas last week, we had so much fun leaning into the touches that demand gen marketers actually appreciate:

→ Hyper-targeted copy on the napkins for each persona
→ Put $ towards brand with a projected logo on the wall
→ Light-up leis: instant crowd favorite that tied into the theme
→ Leaned into their mascot, Achoo the Raccoon—on the drink picks, shirts, and  napkins

Regardless of who your audience is, the event has to feel intentional, creative, and unmistakably you.

Construction & Insurance.

Two industries built on tradition, risk mitigation, and a whole lot of siloed workflows.

But right now, we're at a pivotal moment where technology and AI can bridge these industries into a new era. 

Hover is that bridge. 

I was fortunate to play a part in the event strategy and execution that brought executives across leading insurance and contractor groups together in Franklin, TN for the first time last week.

Getting the right people in the room matters, and this week felt like the beginning of something that’s been missing for far too long.

My favorite moment? Hearing someone say, “I’ve been waiting for this conversation for decades.”

Optimistic about where this initial spark will take the industry forward with homeowners at the center.

Human connection is trending up. 

1 in 3 B2B companies plan to make intimate, in-person events a top 3 GTM investment in 2026.
