Responsible for directing sales efforts to expand our clients customer base while generating new business and ensuring that sales targets are met or exceeded across all lines of business. 

Responsible for developing and maintaining carrier relationships, offering custom, sometimes out-of-the-box transportation solutions that exceed our customers’ needs, while delivering outstanding service. 

Responsible for strategic cold calling, qualifying and effectively connecting with prospective business partners. 

Responsible for utilising internal tools to negotiate market freight rates for customers. 

Responsible for ensuring that each step along the supply chain leads back into itself all (7 R’s) which are - right product; right quantity; right condition; right place; right time; right customer; and right price) happy simultaneously.

Customer Sales Executive

I am responsible for customer sales and manage strategic and operational supply chain requirements of my company with personal customer accounts that allows me to develop and maintain communication with my clients to make sure logistic agreements with customers are met and keep growing for all those involved. 

I have to identify opportunities to obtain new clients or increase current client contracts and analyze supply chain processes and recommend methods to improve efficiency.

Throughout the year,

I continually take stock of existing shipping activities to uncover more optimal methods of transport, and additional avenues to save their clients time and money in the shipping process.

As a representative and managing different accounts, I have focused a lot on securing the right carrier at the right price at the right time to deliver the customer's goods on time. 

To be successful in this role, I have developed and grown relationships with transportation companies and help them optimize their fleet.
