Post-acquisition transition management:
•	Maintained shipments/billings/revenue stream during transition to new business model, new policies/processes and new culture.
•	Transitioned from proprietary computer system to AS400. 
•	Assumed responsibility for receiving department.
•	Trained and mentored all direct/indirect reports on new company’s operating guidelines and procedures.
•	Developed strategies that saved an average of 15% per shipment.

Transportation Manager

Prepared and submitted all weekly production quality reports for senior management including internal and external customer rejects, vendor claims, calibration and root-cause analysis. The company quality bonus was paid on data from these reports. Maintained flow of samples for internal lab testing of chemistries and physical properties, assuring compliance with purchasing order specifications.
•	Saved thousands of dollars in customer claims by creating and implementing system to identify and assign responsibility to vendors for producing-mill defects.
•	Supported successful internal ISO audits by supplying data for PPAP applications for automotive customers, and 8D corrective actions.

Quality Technician

DOT-compliant delivery of finished goods and pickup of raw material completing 700K+ safe miles. Efficient multi-state, multi-stop route planning and customer interaction.
