As a CEO, CRO, COO and CFO, and multi-time founder, I have successfully led early-stage, high-growth Web and tech firms consistently delivering hyper-growth profitable revenue. @25, as Sr. Credit Policy Officer/VP at JPMorgan Chase, I designed, wrote and implemented numerous credit products for the Bank, ultimately bearing the credit risk for and overseeing a $50B+ loan portfolio. 

Over my career, I have led the growth of seven companies, including four self-funded start-ups and one venture-backed firm. Notably, two of these companies exceeded $140 million in annual revenue. My individual efforts have delivered over $2 billion in uninterrupted, profitable revenue to these ventures and two exits.

My comfort zone is complex problems, dynamic changes and continuous improvement in an organization. I am energized by competition and the need for continuous cost reduction and performance efficiency. 

My first full startup was a first-mover pioneer in the digital advertising sector, founding and building a digital advertising agency that created many of the methods and practices now broadly employed in digital marketing (SEO, SEM, etc.), targeted media planning and buying, programmatic advertising, data, tracking and reporting. We reached nearly $150M within 3 years; highly profitable, no investors or debt; started the company with $100.

I launched my career in corporate and investment banking, reaching VP at JPMorgan Chase @25. And, to kick off my startup career, I was on the founding team of two intrapreneurial startups in US and international telecommunications where I was the sole IC to a $50M run rate in year one.

My tech journey started with a little luck (and a lot of code!). When I was a kid, I won a computer in a contest by writing a program to calculate the number of pennies inside it. That lit a spark that ignited the start of my career as software developer, and led to product management as I craved roles that demanded more than code: product vision, market insight, and leadership. 

With a brain wired for logic, but a creative hunger as well, I built software with keen insight on trends and unique ideas. I was recognized for using Java to build web based provisioning software for our calling card platform, earning me an industry award for "Most Innovative Use of Technology."

Continuing in my career I saw a shift in how streaming video would be delivered when Adobe released their new video streaming server. I consolidated 3 different tech platforms for a 12+ million user online community into a single solution, drastically improving the user experience with an increase in revenue, a 20% increase in session duration, and a decrease in support costs. Again I led and the market followed.

Shifting gears and tackling the bigger product issues came with the iPhone and Apple’s decision to ditch Flash. I anticipated the shift, leading another market charge and spearheaded a pivot to WebRTC, cutting latency by 25% and lifting engagement again.

My career has largely been shaped by working within startups which demand adaptability, innovation, and a willingness to take calculated risks. However, I recently brought that agility to Stenograph, a 75+ year old leader in the legal tech industry. I led the launch of CaseTestify, an AI-powered B2B SaaS platform designed to revolutionize pre-trial testimony capture and delivery for attorneys. We secured a key enterprise contract with the second-largest player in the field within the first year, and projected $1.5M+ ARR proving a great product-market fit. 

Fun fact: I pitched an idea to Google years ago that got me selected as an original Glass Explorer! A bit ahead of its time, but it reinforced my belief in anticipating future trends.
