I went from working 60 hour weeks for free to building a business where leads come in predictably.

I started freelancing in February 2024 and my first three clients paid me 0. 

I thought that’s how you start. Get experience, collect testimonials and stability will follow.

It didn’t.

Every month felt like a reset. 

Some weeks were busy, then things would go quiet and I’d find myself checking LinkedIn hoping someone replies.

So I did the obvious things. I posted regularly, stayed active, messaged people.

By May, I realised it wasn’t a skill problem. 

People could read my posts and still not know what I actually do, who I do it for or what they should reach out about. 

So DMs stayed casual and calls started with me explaining everything from scratch.

I fixed it with three changes.

- Got specific about who I help. 

- Focused my content on one core problem instead of trying to talk to everyone. 

- Added outbound so I wasn’t waiting for leads to find me. 

In June 2024, I launched Inizio Media Ventures. 

Leads didn’t flood in overnight but they became consistent because I finally had a system instead of hope.

After working with 70+ clients, I’ve noticed a pattern among founders who post regularly but still stay behind.
