Ryan Burgess joined Cart.com as part of the acquisition of 180Commerce, where he previously served as Vice President of EmergEQ. 

In my role as Director of Amazon at Cart.com, I was responsible for managing the delivery of our combined Advertising service offering for all clients of EmergEQ, 180Commerce, and Cart.com (post-acquisition). 

During my time at Cart.com, I led the creation of unified SOPs for our Advertising services team whom all had different backgrounds, training, and experience levels in working with Amazon. I frequently collaborated with sales and marketing teams as a key expert in Amazon Advertising and business strategy, in addition to serving as a senior expert on important client meetings.

EmergEQ was a boutique Amazon Advertising Consultancy founded by Ryan Burgess. We specialize in providing expert strategy and consulting for your Amazon business, and pair it with an in-house execution team with years of experience working on Amazon.  

As the Founder of EmergEQ, I was equal parts focused on growing the agency (partnerships, sales, hiring) and servicing our clients business to reach their sales goals. We quickly grew from a small 2-person consultancy into a specialized agency managing over $250M in annual Amazon revenue in just 12 months. 

EmergEQ merged with 180Commerce in 2021 to help brands with an expanded list of services, including Amazon General Account Management, Sponsored Ads (SP, SB, SD), Amazon DSP (Certified), complex media buys, integrated media plans across channels & activations, content planning and execution, video and photography.

Ryan has over 8 years of direct Amazon Experience and prides himself on having the answer to EVERY problem on Amazon. Starting as a seller in high-school and college, Ryan was able to learn the ins and outs of selling on the platform and can relate with many of the issues 3P sellers have with Amazon. After working in-house for many successful brands, Ryan began his journey in the Agency World at CPC Strategy (Tinuiti). Quickly rising to a Sr. Analyst position and working with the firms largest clients, Ryan developed his skills at becoming the best Amazon Advertiser in the world. 

During Ryan's time at Blue Wheel Media, he built a multi-million dollar department and grew the Amazon roster from 3 clients to over 100 under management and built a team of over 22 people to manage the effort.
