I proved it at Feastables by MrBeast, where I led CX and digital strategy from the ground up — scaling the brand from $0 to $150M+ and giving the audience a piece of the "Jimmy pie" through brand experience.

Before that, I led CX and Product Marketing across several SaaS startups in fintech, travel tech, and cybersecurity. That mix of growth marketing and customer experience shaped how I help brands build today.

Now I’m building Open Late Collective (OLC) — a CX & retention agency for high-growth consumer brands. Some days that means stepping in as the CX leader building systems and teams, other days it’s the retention strategist designing lifecycle journeys, or the brand builder tightening positioning. For a lot of brands, I play the role of fractional CMO or CXO....whatever it takes to make CX and retention a true growth engine.

When a complaint comes in, most brands panic, get defensive, or try to shut the conversation down. Here’s what smart brands do instead:
- Validate first. De-escalate the situation and make the customer feel heard before doing anything else.
- Educate clearly. Explain what went wrong without excuses, jargon, or corporate spin.
- Solve generously. Fix the problem in a way that surprises them, not just the bare minimum.
 
Handled this way, complaints stop being a liability and start becoming leverage.
