📌 Set a Timeline: Establish a realistic timeline for preparing.

Step 2:Build Your Foundation

📌Update Your Resume: Tailor it to specific roles by highlighting relevant skills and achievements. Keep it concise . Keep checking your ATS Score.
📌 Work on a Portfolio: Showcase your work through case studies, blogs, GitHub or creative portfolios.
📌 Upskill, Upskill and Upskill:Use platforms like Coursera, Udemy, or LinkedIn Learning meanwhile you aren't getting the job.

Step 3: Leverage LinkedIn

📌Optimize Your Profile:
⭐ Headline: Use keywords like “Aspiring  Analyst | Skilled in Social Media Marketing, SQL, and Power BI.”
⭐ Summary: Write a concise story highlighting your journey, skills, and career aspirations but make it show YOU in it.
⭐ Skills & Endorsements: Add relevant skills and request endorsements from peers and mentors.

1 thing which really helped me while I was searching and applying for jobs was to have a belief in myself.

For years, I obsessed over productivity hacks, a new app every month, color-coded planners and many Chai all nights.

I thought working “harder and smarter” meant squeezing in more tasks, replying to every message instantly, and always being available.

But my most ambitious projects kept lagging.
My energy waned.
The end-of-day fatigue became the norm, not the exception.

The shift happened when I discovered deep work. 

One day, I blocked out a 4 hr window: phone away, notifications off, a single important project open on my desktop.

I expected boredom, maybe some FOMO.

What I got was the most focused, creative, and satisfying workday in years. 

Tasks that would’ve dragged on for days got finished in the morning.

The difference? Focused energy beats scattered hustle. Real productivity is about ruthless prioritization, unbreakable deep work zones, and saying “no” to almost everything else.

If I could tell my younger self anything, it’s this: Protect your prime energy. Those 3-4 uninterrupted hours are gold, make them non-negotiable

I don't wanna take names but this is from all the Linkedin Creators:

One of the most frustrating parts of being a creator is waiting for 3-6 months of waiting for the Payment of Brand collabs,after they have mentioned the payment duration as 30 days after the live posting.


Let’s be very clear:

If a creator has
– signed the agreement
– delivered the content
– met timelines
– shared reports

then timely payment is not optional.

It is basic professionalism! 

Creators are not doing “favours.”
This is work. This is an effort. This is value delivered to your brand.

Ghosting after reach, and engagement are taken is unfair, unethical, and damaging not just to creators, but to the ecosystem as a whole.

In my last 2-3 years at Linkedin, I have seen Big Brands ghosting for half an year after being super active when it came to their live dates.

But once it's done they go MIA!

To brands and agencies reading this:

If budgets are delayed, communicate!
If processes take time, inform.
Respect creators the same way you expect them to respect your brand.

We love collaborating.
We love creating impact.
But professionalism must go both ways.
